| CVE-2024-40963 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mips: bmips: BCM6358: make sure CBR is correctly set It was discovered that some device have CBR address set to 0 causing kernel panic when arch_sync_dma_for_cpu_all is called. This was notice in situation where the system is booted from TP1 and BMIPS_GET_CBR() returns 0 instead of a valid address and !!(read_c0_brcm_cmt_local() & (1 << 31)); not failing. The current check whether RAC flush should be disabled or not are not enough hence lets check if CBR is a valid address or not. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40948 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/page_table_check: fix crash on ZONE_DEVICE Not all pages may apply to pgtable check. One example is ZONE_DEVICE pages: they map PFNs directly, and they don't allocate page_ext at all even if there's struct page around. One may reference devm_memremap_pages(). When both ZONE_DEVICE and page-table-check enabled, then try to map some dax memories, one can trigger kernel bug constantly now when the kernel was trying to inject some pfn maps on the dax device: kernel BUG at mm/page_table_check.c:55! While it's pretty legal to use set_pxx_at() for ZONE_DEVICE pages for page fault resolutions, skip all the checks if page_ext doesn't even exist in pgtable checker, which applies to ZONE_DEVICE but maybe more. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40940 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix tainted pointer delete is case of flow rules creation fail In case of flow rule creation fail in mlx5_lag_create_port_sel_table(), instead of previously created rules, the tainted pointer is deleted deveral times. Fix this bug by using correct flow rules pointers. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40939 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wwan: iosm: Fix tainted pointer delete is case of region creation fail In case of region creation fail in ipc_devlink_create_region(), previously created regions delete process starts from tainted pointer which actually holds error code value. Fix this bug by decreasing region index before delete. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40938 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: landlock: Fix d_parent walk The WARN_ON_ONCE() in collect_domain_accesses() can be triggered when trying to link a root mount point. This cannot work in practice because this directory is mounted, but the VFS check is done after the call to security_path_link(). Do not use source directory's d_parent when the source directory is the mount point. [mic: Fix commit message] | ||||
| CVE-2024-40935 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: flush all requests after setting CACHEFILES_DEAD In ondemand mode, when the daemon is processing an open request, if the kernel flags the cache as CACHEFILES_DEAD, the cachefiles_daemon_write() will always return -EIO, so the daemon can't pass the copen to the kernel. Then the kernel process that is waiting for the copen triggers a hung_task. Since the DEAD state is irreversible, it can only be exited by closing /dev/cachefiles. Therefore, after calling cachefiles_io_error() to mark the cache as CACHEFILES_DEAD, if in ondemand mode, flush all requests to avoid the above hungtask. We may still be able to read some of the cached data before closing the fd of /dev/cachefiles. Note that this relies on the patch that adds reference counting to the req, otherwise it may UAF. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40921 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: mst: pass vlan group directly to br_mst_vlan_set_state Pass the already obtained vlan group pointer to br_mst_vlan_set_state() instead of dereferencing it again. Each caller has already correctly dereferenced it for their context. This change is required for the following suspicious RCU dereference fix. No functional changes intended. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40914 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: don't unpoison huge_zero_folio When I did memory failure tests recently, below panic occurs: kernel BUG at include/linux/mm.h:1135! invalid opcode: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP NOPTI CPU: 9 PID: 137 Comm: kswapd1 Not tainted 6.9.0-rc4-00491-gd5ce28f156fe-dirty #14 RIP: 0010:shrink_huge_zero_page_scan+0x168/0x1a0 RSP: 0018:ffff9933c6c57bd0 EFLAGS: 00000246 RAX: 000000000000003e RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: ffff88f61fc5c9c8 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000027 RDI: ffff88f61fc5c9c0 RBP: ffffcd7c446b0000 R08: ffffffff9a9405f0 R09: 0000000000005492 R10: 00000000000030ea R11: ffffffff9a9405f0 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 0000000000000000 R14: 0000000000000000 R15: ffff88e703c4ac00 FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff88f61fc40000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 000055f4da6e9878 CR3: 0000000c71048000 CR4: 00000000000006f0 Call Trace: <TASK> do_shrink_slab+0x14f/0x6a0 shrink_slab+0xca/0x8c0 shrink_node+0x2d0/0x7d0 balance_pgdat+0x33a/0x720 kswapd+0x1f3/0x410 kthread+0xd5/0x100 ret_from_fork+0x2f/0x50 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 </TASK> Modules linked in: mce_inject hwpoison_inject ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- RIP: 0010:shrink_huge_zero_page_scan+0x168/0x1a0 RSP: 0018:ffff9933c6c57bd0 EFLAGS: 00000246 RAX: 000000000000003e RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: ffff88f61fc5c9c8 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000027 RDI: ffff88f61fc5c9c0 RBP: ffffcd7c446b0000 R08: ffffffff9a9405f0 R09: 0000000000005492 R10: 00000000000030ea R11: ffffffff9a9405f0 R12: 0000000000000000 R13: 0000000000000000 R14: 0000000000000000 R15: ffff88e703c4ac00 FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff88f61fc40000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 000055f4da6e9878 CR3: 0000000c71048000 CR4: 00000000000006f0 The root cause is that HWPoison flag will be set for huge_zero_folio without increasing the folio refcnt. But then unpoison_memory() will decrease the folio refcnt unexpectedly as it appears like a successfully hwpoisoned folio leading to VM_BUG_ON_PAGE(page_ref_count(page) == 0) when releasing huge_zero_folio. Skip unpoisoning huge_zero_folio in unpoison_memory() to fix this issue. We're not prepared to unpoison huge_zero_folio yet. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40913 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: defer exposing anon_fd until after copy_to_user() succeeds After installing the anonymous fd, we can now see it in userland and close it. However, at this point we may not have gotten the reference count of the cache, but we will put it during colse fd, so this may cause a cache UAF. So grab the cache reference count before fd_install(). In addition, by kernel convention, fd is taken over by the user land after fd_install(), and the kernel should not call close_fd() after that, i.e., it should call fd_install() after everything is ready, thus fd_install() is called after copy_to_user() succeeds. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40908 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Set run context for rawtp test_run callback syzbot reported crash when rawtp program executed through the test_run interface calls bpf_get_attach_cookie helper or any other helper that touches task->bpf_ctx pointer. Setting the run context (task->bpf_ctx pointer) for test_run callback. | ||||

| CVE-2024-22123 | 1 Zabbix | 1 Zabbix | 2025-11-03 | 2.7 Low |
| Setting SMS media allows to set GSM modem file. Later this file is used as Linux device. But due everything is a file for Linux, it is possible to set another file, e.g. log file and zabbix_server will try to communicate with it as modem. As a result, log file will be broken with AT commands and small part for log file content will be leaked to UI. | ||||
| CVE-2024-22116 | 1 Zabbix | 1 Zabbix | 2025-11-03 | 9.9 Critical |
| An administrator with restricted permissions can exploit the script execution functionality within the Monitoring Hosts section. The lack of default escaping for script parameters enabled this user ability to execute arbitrary code via the Ping script, thereby compromising infrastructure. | ||||
| CVE-2024-11699 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 9 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 6 more | 2025-11-03 | 8.8 High |
| Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 132, Firefox ESR 128.4, and Thunderbird 128.4. | CVE-2023-44270 | 2 Postcss, Redhat | 7 Postcss, Discovery, Openshift and 4 more | 2025-11-03 | 5.3 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in PostCSS before 8.4.31. The vulnerability affects linters using PostCSS to parse external untrusted CSS. An attacker can prepare CSS in such a way that it will contains parts parsed by PostCSS as a CSS comment. After processing by PostCSS, it will be included in the PostCSS output in CSS nodes (rules, properties) despite being included in a comment. | ||||
| CVE-2022-24439 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gitpython Project and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gitpython and 2 more | 2025-11-03 | 8.1 High |
| All versions of package gitpython are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) due to improper user input validation, which makes it possible to inject a maliciously crafted remote URL into the clone command. Exploiting this vulnerability is possible because the library makes external calls to git without sufficient sanitization of input arguments. | ||||
| CVE-2021-23358 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Acm and 3 more | 2025-11-03 | 3.3 Low |
