| CVE-2026-98296 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-07 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: validate TX skb length in send_sync btintel_pcie_prepare_tx() copies skb->len bytes into a fixed BTINTEL_PCIE_BUFFER_SIZE (4096) DMA slot via an unchecked memcpy. Oversized packets are currently rejected only in btintel_pcie_send_frame(); any future caller of btintel_pcie_send_sync() would silently overflow the DMA buffer. Add the bounds check in btintel_pcie_send_sync() itself, right before skb_push() and the DMA copy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105842 | 1 Lrzsz Project | 1 Lrzsz | 2026-10-07 | 6.4 Medium |
| lrzsz before 0.13.0 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in procheader() of the lrz receive utility when copying overlong sender-supplied filenames into Pathname. Malicious ZMODEM senders can supply filenames up to 8192 bytes, overflowing the buffer via sprintf() in pipe mode or strcpy() to corrupt heap memory and crash lrz. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106454 | 1 Twisted | 1 Twisted | 2026-10-07 | 4.3 Medium |
| Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. In 25.5.0 and earlier, wildcardToRegexp() in twisted/mail/imap4.py translates the IMAP asterisk and percent wildcards but passes all other characters from an authenticated client's LIST or LSUB pattern directly to re.compile(), allowing nested or otherwise expensive regular expression constructs to cause catastrophic backtracking when matched against mailbox names. Because Twisted uses a cooperative single-threaded reactor, the blocking match suspends all server input and output for the duration of the match. No fixed release is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82162 | 2026-10-06 | 7.4 High | ||
| Dell Command | Configure (DCC), versions prior to 5.2.3.35, contain an Improper Handling of Mixed Encoding vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of Privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106444 | 2026-10-06 | 4.7 Medium | ||
| Handlebars provides the power necessary to let users build semantic templates. From 4.0.0 until 4.7.10, Handlebars.precompile() uses quotedString() in lib/handlebars/compiler/code-gen.js to emit static template text into generated JavaScript without escaping sequences that terminate an enclosing HTML script element. When an application precompiles attacker-controlled template text and embeds the generated source directly in an inline script element, a closing script delimiter can end the element and cause following attacker-controlled markup to be parsed and executed. Ordinary server-side rendering and precompiled templates served as external JavaScript files are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.7.10. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104047 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102168 | 2026-10-06 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points with Captive Portal enabled, an unauthenticated wireless client connected to a Captive-Portal-enabled SSID can crash the portal service with a crafted HTTP request. This results in a temporary denial of service until the service automatically restarts. Remote code execution is not possible. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102167 | 2026-10-06 | 7.5 High | ||
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, a memory corruption vulnerability exists in access point's wired uplink network endpoints. An unauthenticated attacker can crash the sensor service or potentially achieve remote code execution. Exploitation requires the attacker to be on the same network segment as the access point's wired uplink. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102165 | 2026-10-06 | 7.5 High | ||
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points, an unauthenticated attacker with network access to the capture service can send a crafted packet to cause the service to crash or potentially achieve remote code execution. This exploit requires an uncommonly used non-default streaming mode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102164 | 2026-10-06 | 3.1 Low | ||
| On affected Arista access points configured with VXLAN tunnelling and L2-proxy (a specific configuration unique to the VESPA use-case), a wireless client associated to the tunnelled SSID can send a crafted packet, causing the access point to reveal memory contents in network traffic. No write primitive or remote code execution is possible. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102162 | 2026-10-06 | 8.8 High | ||
| On affected Arista Wi-Fi access points with captive portal, or application firewall enabled on at least one SSID, a vulnerability in the wireless gateway service could allow an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to send a crafted packet that triggers a stack overflow, resulting in a denial-of-service condition or potentially execute arbitrary code on the device. The wireless gateway service is automatically restarted after a crash, allowing repeated exploitation attempts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105294 | 1 Legcord | 1 Legcord | 2026-10-06 | 7.4 High |
| Legcord 1.1.0 through 1.3.0 contains a configuration injection vulnerability that allows script in the Discord page to write any config key via the window.legcord settings.setConfig bridge. Attackers exploiting a Discord XSS can set additionalArguments to persistently add --proxy-server and --ignore-certificate-errors switches, routing all client traffic through an interception proxy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19954 | 1 Perl | 1 Net::whois::raw | 2026-10-06 | 5.4 Medium |
| Net::Whois::Raw versions before 2.99044 for Perl ship a pwhois command-line tool that queries WHOIS for the wrong domain for unicode domain names. pwhois encodes each non-ASCII label directly using Net::IDN::Punycode and prepends xn--. Apart from lowercasing ASCII and Cyrillic letters, it skips the IDNA mapping and normalization steps, so a label with other uppercase letters, or not in NFC, encodes to a different A-label than its IDNA form. For example, a label of U+00C9 followed by "cole" encodes to "xn--cole-pka" rather than "xn--cole-9oa". The Net::Whois::Raw library modules are not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-20540 | 1 Mediatek | 1 Mediatek Chipset | 2026-10-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| In Modem, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote denial of service, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY01774038; Issue ID: MSV-8912. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100103 | 1 Perforce | 1 Helix Core | 2026-10-06 | N/A |
| Perforce P4 Search container images prior to 2026.4.2 reset the service authentication token to a publicly documented default value. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can obtain the highest application privilege, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution and compromise of the connected P4 Server. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104030 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19029 | 2026-10-06 | N/A | ||
| A heap-based buffer over-read in H5Z__filter_scaleoffset() in src/H5Zscaleoffset.c in HDF5 through 2.2.0 lets an attacker cause a denial of service (application crash) with a crafted HDF5 file. When the stored minimum bits equal the full precision of the datatype, the decoder copies d_nelmts * size bytes from the compressed chunk without checking that the chunk holds that many bytes. Both values come from attacker-controlled scale-offset filter parameters in the dataset's filter pipeline message. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104037 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted request with an invalid packet length to the autofs responder UNIX socket. This causes an integer underflow and an out-of-bounds memory read, which can crash the responder process and result in a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-06 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104043 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker with access to the Name Service Switch (NSS) responder UNIX socket can trigger an integer underflow by sending a specially crafted request with an undersized packet header. This issue causes an out-of-bounds memory read during packet parsing, crashing the responder process and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
