CVE-2026-93783 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: RFCOMM: validate skb length in rfcomm_recv_frame rfcomm_recv_frame() casts skb->data to struct rfcomm_hdr and dereferences hdr->addr and hdr->ctrl without validating skb->len first. A truncated frame with skb->len less than the minimum header size causes an out-of-bounds read of uninitialized memory. Additionally, a zero-length frame causes skb->len-- to underflow to UINT_MAX, making skb_tail_pointer() read far past the buffer. Commit 23882b828c3c ("Bluetooth: RFCOMM: validate skb length in MCC handlers") fixed the same class of missing-length-check bugs in the MCC sub-handlers, but the top-level rfcomm_recv_frame() was left unfixed. KMSAN reports: BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in rfcomm_run ... Uninit was created at: __alloc_skb+0x474/0xb60 vhci_write+0xe9/0x870 Fix this by rejecting frames smaller than sizeof(struct rfcomm_hdr) + 1 (the minimum frame must have a 3-byte header and a 1-byte FCS).
CVE-2026-93199 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i3c: master: Do not treat master device as a duplicate target i3c_master_search_i3c_dev_duplicate() searches the bus for another I3C device with the same PID as the reference device. The search can match master->this, causing the controller itself to be returned as a duplicate. Since the controller is not a target device, it cannot be a duplicate of one. Exclude master->this from matching so that the function only returns real duplicate target devices.
CVE-2026-89971 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: skip the zoned limits update if the zone info query failed nvme_query_zone_info() returns either a negative errno or a positive NVMe status code, but nvme_update_ns_info_block() only tests for the negative case: ret = nvme_query_zone_info(ns, lbaf, &zi); if (ret < 0) goto out; If the device fails the Identify Namespace (I/O Command Set specific) command, or the Identify Controller command issued by nvme_set_max_append(), the positive status falls through and setup continues with the zero-initialized zone info. nvme_update_zone_info() then marks the queue zoned with chunk_sectors and ns->head->zsze set to zero. blk_validate_zoned_limits() does not check chunk_sectors, so the limits commit succeeds. blk_revalidate_disk_zones() does reject the zero zone size, but by then the limits are live and nothing rolls them back, so I/O keeps being submitted to a zoned queue with a zero zone size and disk_zone_no() shifts by ilog2(0): nvme0n1: Invalid non power of two zone size (0) UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in include/linux/blkdev.h:747:16 shift exponent -1 is negative disk_zone_no include/linux/blkdev.h:747 [inline] bio_straddles_zones include/linux/blkdev.h:1058 [inline] blk_zone_wplug_handle_write block/blk-zoned.c:1423 [inline] blk_zone_plug_bio.cold+0x25/0x1c8 block/blk-zoned.c:1605 blk_mq_submit_bio+0x18fb/0x2870 block/blk-mq.c:3196 submit_bh_wbc+0x575/0x740 fs/buffer.c:2824 __block_write_full_folio+0x728/0xdd0 fs/buffer.c:1933 Any device, firmware or NVMe-oF target that fails this one command reaches this. Skip the zoned limits update in that case, and log which of the two things happened: during a revalidation the queue keeps the zone geometry it was last validated with, and on a first scan the namespace is registered without zoned limits, so that it is still available as a handle for admin commands. Neither of the paths in nvme_query_zone_info() that return a positive status logs anything, so the failure would otherwise be silent. zi.zone_size is an exact indicator: every path that returns a positive status returns before it is assigned, and after that the only failure left is -ENODEV, which the caller already handles. Found by FuzzNvme.
CVE-2026-89859 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Zero dport diagnostics buffer to avoid info leak qla2x00_do_dport_diagnostics() allocates the qla_dport_diag response buffer with kmalloc_obj() (non-zeroing) and, on success, copies the full sizeof(*dd) back to user space via sg_copy_from_buffer(). The inbound sg_copy_to_buffer() only fills as many bytes as the user request payload provides, and qla26xx_dport_diagnostics() zeroes only dd->buf. The options and unused[] fields are therefore copied out uninitialized, leaking kernel heap contents to user space. Allocate with kzalloc_obj(), matching qla2x00_do_dport_diagnostics_v2().
CVE-2026-89838 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: limit recovery filename logging to stored length F2FS stores recovery filenames as a length plus a fixed-size i_name buffer. The buffer is not NUL-terminated, but recover_inode() and recover_dentry() print it with %s. For a 255-byte filename, recovery logging can read past i_name into the following raw inode fields. Print the name with a precision bounded by i_namelen and F2FS_NAME_LEN.
CVE-2026-80836 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: virtio - bound the akcipher result length virtio_crypto_dataq_akcipher_callback() sets the result length from the device-reported response length without bounding it to the destination buffer, which was allocated for the original request length. sg_copy_from_buffer() then reads that many bytes from the destination buffer; a backend reporting a larger length over-reads adjacent kernel heap into the caller's scatterlist (an out-of-bounds read). Clamp the reported length to the originally requested destination length. A conforming device reports no more than that, so valid results are unaffected.
CVE-2026-74521 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: use memcmp() to compare ClientGUIDs ClientGUID is a fixed-size binary value and can contain embedded NUL bytes. strncmp() stops comparing at the first NUL byte, so different ClientGUID values can incorrectly be treated as equal. Use memcmp() in SMB3 multichannel session binding and FSCTL_VALIDATE_NEGOTIATE_INFO to compare all SMB2_CLIENT_GUID_SIZE bytes.
CVE-2024-49568 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: check v2_ext_offset/eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt when receiving proposal msg When receiving proposal msg in server, the fields v2_ext_offset/ eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt in proposal msg are from the remote client and can not be fully trusted. Especially the field v2_ext_offset, once exceed the max value, there has the chance to access wrong address, and crash may happen. This patch checks the fields v2_ext_offset/eid_cnt/ism_gid_cnt before using them.
CVE-2024-47408 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-03 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: check smcd_v2_ext_offset when receiving proposal msg When receiving proposal msg in server, the field smcd_v2_ext_offset in proposal msg is from the remote client and can not be fully trusted. Once the value of smcd_v2_ext_offset exceed the max value, there has the chance to access wrong address, and crash may happen. This patch checks the value of smcd_v2_ext_offset before using it.
CVE-2026-47360 2 Apache, Redhat 2 Http Server, Hummingbird 2026-10-02 7.5 High
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server's mod_session_cookie module.   When SessionCookieRemove changes across internal redirects, the session cookie may still be passed to a backend server. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.0 through 2.4.68.
CVE-2026-100258 1 Jetbrains 1 Youtrack 2026-10-02 4.3 Medium

CVE-2026-85532 1 Apache 1 Wss4j 2026-10-02 7.5 High
Apache WSS4J accepted attacker-controlled derived-key lengths and offsets without adequate bounds. This could permit cryptographically weak keys or excessive CPU and memory consumption when processing crafted WS-Security messages. The fixes enforce a minimum key length of 16 bytes, a maximum length of 512 bytes, and a maximum offset of 4096 bytes. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-17523 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-10-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: switch timer to HRTIMER_MODE_SOFT and remove hrtimer_tasklet This patch switches the timer to HRTIMER_MODE_SOFT, which executed the timer callback in softirq context and removes the hrtimer_tasklet.
CVE-2026-73555 2 Vllm, Vllm-project 2 Vllm, Vllm 2026-10-02 5.3 Medium
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.26.0, the validation_exception_handler in vllm/entrypoints/openai/server_utils.py converts FastAPI RequestValidationError objects with str(exc), and sanitize_message in vllm/entrypoints/utils.py does not remove traceback-style file paths, allowing unauthenticated malformed JSON requests to /v1/chat/completions, /v1/completions, /tokenize, and /detokenize to disclose the OS username, home and virtual-environment paths, Python version, internal package structure, line numbers, and endpoint handler names. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0.
CVE-2026-100078 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mei: pass correct argument to function The first argument to iwl_mei_write_cyclic_buf() should be the cldev but the q_head pointer is passed instead. Fix it.
CVE-2026-77987 1 Github 1 Enterprise Server 2026-10-02 9.8 Critical
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in the notebook viewer of GitHub Enterprise Server. The notebook viewer validated the scheme and host of a user-supplied URL but did not validate the port, allowing requests to be directed to internal services listening on other ports of the same appliance. Response bodies were not returned to the requester, but response timing acted as an oracle that allowed instance secrets to be extracted character by character. An extracted secret could then be used in a separate interaction with an internal service to obtain remote code execution on the appliance. Exploitation required network access to the instance and was unauthenticated when private mode was disabled, or required any authenticated user when private mode was enabled. This vulnerability affected GitHub Enterprise Server versions 3.17 through 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.22.1, 3.21.6, 3.20.8, 3.19.12, 3.18.15, and 3.17.21. This vulnerability was reported through the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
CVE-2026-18036 1 Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 1 Bc-java 2026-10-02 N/A
In Bouncy Castle for Java before 1.86, NTRU reduced secret values with the % operator in three helpers whose reference implementations are deliberately division-free, so each reduction was carried out by an integer division whose latency depends on the secret operand. Polynomial.modQ divided by a variable divisor, which a compiler cannot strength-reduce to a multiply the way it can a constant one, so it emitted a division on every call including on the decapsulation path where the dividend derives from the private key; Polynomial.mod3 and NTRUSampling.mod3 divided the secret key polynomials f and g during key generation, the message polynomials r and m during encapsulation, and coefficients recovered during decapsulation. An attacker able to measure that timing can recover information about the NTRU private key. modQ now masks, which is exact because q is always a power of two, and mod3 uses the reference implementation's division-free fold and select; the results are unchanged.
CVE-2026-104415 1 Ghost 1 Ghost 2026-10-02 3.1 Low
Ghost from 0.7.2 before 6.64.0 contains an information disclosure vulnerability in the Admin API that allows staff-level users to determine the relative ordering of other staff users' password hashes. Authenticated staff users can query the Admin API to infer hash ordering, though this does not directly reveal hashes or enable practical password recovery.
