CVSS v3.1 |
| Kiteworks Core did not correctly validate a parameter submitted to the password reset workflow. An unauthenticated attacker who knew the email address of a user with a locally stored password could potentially reset that account's password without access to the emailed reset link and then authenticate as that user, including where the account holds administrative privileges. |
| The Nexi XPay Build WordPress plugin through 7.6.2 does not verify the payment result supplied to several of its unauthenticated routes, allowing attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid or failed, to cancel them, and to obtain order keys which expose guest buyers' details. |
| The CP Media Player WordPress plugin before 1.3.4 does not perform a capability check on its settings-page handler, allowing users with only Contributor-level access to create, modify, duplicate and delete the site-wide media player configurations and change a CP Media Player WordPress plugin before 1.3.4 option that should require administrator access. |
| Gitea's OAuth2 token endpoint verified the signature and grant of a token submitted with the `refresh_token` grant type, but not that the token was a refresh token. An unexpired access token for the same OAuth2 application and grant could be exchanged for a new access token and refresh token. Whoever holds such an access token could keep access beyond the token's original lifetime. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: abort transaction on failure to update inode for hole punching and reflinking
If we fail to update the inode we error out without aborting the
transaction, which can result in a persistent inconsistency if after
the failure the transaction is committed, as we have dropped file
extent items from a range and either punched a hole or insert a new file
extent item for that range (for reflinks).
So add the missing transaction abort. |
| Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. Prior to Joplin Server 3.7.2, packages/server/src/models/TokenModel.ts stores CSRF, account-confirmation, email-change, and password-reset tokens without a purpose, and packages/server/src/models/UserModel.ts allows UserModel.resetPassword to accept any token returned by TokenModel.userFromToken. An attacker who obtains a victim's CSRF or confirmation token through a separate disclosure channel can submit it to the public password-reset endpoint, replace the victim's password, and cause the existing sessions and API applications to be deleted. This issue is fixed in Joplin Server 3.7.2. |
| Sylius versions before 1.12.25, 1.13.17, 1.14.20, 2.1.16, and 2.2.9 build administrator password-reset links using the request Host header without validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect reset tokens to attacker-controlled domains. Attackers can request password resets for known administrator email addresses with forged Host headers to intercept valid reset tokens and take over administrator accounts. |
| GetSimple CMS is a content management system (CMS), and GetSimple CMS CE is the community edition of that CMS. In version 3.3.22, the password reset endpoint can be accessed without authentication. When a reset request is submitted for an existing user, the application generates a new temporary password and immediately stores its hash as the user's new password. The temporary password is generated using PHP rand() seeded with microtime(). Because this seed is time-based and has a limited effective search space, an attacker can generate possible reset password candidates. Since the admin login endpoint does not enforce rate limiting or account lockout, these candidates can be tested online until the correct password is found. Successful exploitation may lead to administrator account takeover. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in Netcore POWER13 2.0.240730.162638. This issue affects the function routerd.passwd_set of the file /ubus. Such manipulation leads to weak password recovery. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The Payments for Hubtel WordPress plugin before 1.0.2 does not verify that payment notifications received by its payment callback come from the payment provider, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid without payment. |
| Sandbox escape in the Security: Process Sandboxing component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157. |
| DB-GPT v0.8.0 sandbox API silently falls back to LocalRuntime and executes code on host. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: honor forceuid/forcegid when mapping SIDs to uid/gid
When the administrator mounts with forceuid or forcegid (uid=/gid=
mount options), they expect all files to appear owned by the specified
user/group. However, several code paths unconditionally called
sid_to_id() to overwrite cf_uid/cf_gid with server-provided values,
ignoring the administrator's explicit override:
- smb311_posix_info_to_fattr() (stat via POSIX extensions)
- cifs_posix_to_fattr() (readdir via POSIX extensions)
- parse_sec_desc() (CIFS ACL ownership mapping)
This allowed an untrusted server to dictate local file ownership even
when the mount was configured to force specific uid/gid values.
Fix all three call sites to check CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_UID and
CIFS_MOUNT_OVERR_GID before calling sid_to_id(), following the
same pattern already used by cifs_unix_basic_to_fattr() for unix
extensions. |
| Gladys Assistant before 5.1.0 contains a password reset link poisoning vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to obtain valid password reset tokens for any account by exploiting the client-supplied origin parameter in the forgot_password endpoint without server-side validation. Attackers can send a crafted request specifying an attacker-controlled origin, causing the victim to receive a poisoned reset link that discloses the session token to the attacker, enabling full account takeover including administrator accounts. |
| Weak Password Recovery Mechanism for Forgotten Password vulnerability in Ankaref Innovation and Technology Inc. LIBRID/LIBREF allows Password Recovery Exploitation.
This issue affects LIBRID/LIBREF: from 2.01.0.2183 before 18.9.26.2319. |
| n8n before 2.32.1 (and before 2.31.5) is vulnerable to account takeover via the Token Exchange Embed Login feature. When a validly-signed incoming token was matched to a local account by its email claim, the service did not verify that the email claim was verified, nor that the trusted key's permitted role ceiling covered that account. As a result, anyone able to obtain a token accepted by a configured trusted key (for example, a trusted issuer emitting unverified email addresses) could authenticate as any existing user and gain full account control. This issue only affects instances where the embed login feature is enabled and at least one trusted key source is configured. |
| SOGo before 5.12.11 constructs password-reset links using the client-supplied Origin header as the authority, allowing unauthenticated attackers to redirect recovery tokens to attacker-controlled domains. Attackers can submit password recovery requests with a malicious Origin header to have valid password-reset tokens mailed to victim recovery addresses within links pointing to attacker infrastructure, enabling account takeover. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Analytics (component: Platform Security). Supported versions that are affected are 8.2.0.0.0, 12.2.1.4.0 and 26.01.0.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition executes to compromise Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| The password reset funcionality is vulnerable to unauthorized account modification due to improper validation of the user_id parameter. An attacker can manipulate this predictable numeric identifier to reset passwords for arbitrary users without proving account ownership. |
| A vulnerability was determined in jaychouchannel Tourism-Management-System up to d984d172dceca907f8b447efbdb06dc233f7938d. Impacted is the function resetPass of the file UsersController.java of the component Password Recovery. This manipulation causes weak password recovery. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. Patch name: 9cb6215ac871f99a90cde763cf003e95ff282283. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
