CVSS v3.1 |
Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows Imaging Component allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.27.0, an integer overflow in blockIdx.x * 2 * d in activation_kernels.cu can cause act_and_mul_kernel to consume another batched user's input, allowing a request processed in the same inference batch to receive a partial or complete copy of another user's inference result. This issue is fixed in version 0.27.0.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, HTTP SWF decompression with the non-default swf-decompression feature and an unsafe decompress-depth can use the configured depth when allocating in src/util-file-decompression.c instead of limiting the allocation to the Flash file's actual data requirement. A crafted SWF response can therefore trigger an integer-related heap buffer overflow and crash Suricata; the default disabled feature and default depth are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. From 8.0.0 until 8.0.6, the SIP parser in rust/src/sip/parser.rs stores request and response body lengths in 16-bit fields. A SIP body larger than 65,536 bytes can truncate the length and prevent frame:request.body or frame:response.body from exposing the complete body to inspection, allowing content in the omitted portion to evade frame-based detection. This issue is fixed in version 8.0.6.
The OCI delta stream parser read sizes as guint64 but passed them to GLib I/O and allocation functions expecting gsize (32 bits on 32-bit systems), causing undersized allocations while subsequent operations use the original 64-bit size, leading to heap buffer overflows. An attacker controlling an OCI registry can craft a delta stream that triggers this during flatpak install/update, potentially achieving code execution on 32-bit systems.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 19.2 before 19.2.7, 19.3 before 19.3.3, and 19.4 before 19.4.1 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code on the GitLab server due to an integer overflow issue when compiling a specially crafted regular expression in a CI/CD configuration.
A denial of service via unsigned underflow in libXpm's write path in libXpm before 3.5.19 could be used by local attackers to cause unbounded CPU usage and memory exhaustion.
Nezha before 2.3.8 fails to validate alert rule type and duration bounds, allowing authenticated non-administrator users to create malformed rules that trigger unrecovered panics in the alert evaluator goroutine. Attackers can submit a crafted alert rule via the POST /api/v1/alert-rule endpoint to crash the dashboard process, which persists the rule and causes repeated crashes on restart, disabling all monitoring and control plane functionality.
A vulnerability was detected in Trusted Domain Project OpenDKIM up to 2.11.0. Affected is the function dkim_qp_decode of the file util.c of the component Decoder. The manipulation results in off-by-one. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability exists in the proxy packet processing logic of the affected component where it improperly processes malformed or truncated input. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted input that triggers an integer overflow. Successful exploitation could result in a buffer overflow, potentially leading to remote code execution or denial-of-service.
A vulnerability was detected in Trusted Domain Project OpenDMARC up to 1.4.2. Affected by this vulnerability is the function opendmarc_util_cleanup in the library libopendmarc/opendmarc_util.c of the component DMARC Record Parser. Performing a manipulation results in off-by-one. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is named b3b1da9264bc80324094a27c71e7369bdedc62ae. To fix this issue, it is recommended to deploy a patch.
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. Versions prior to 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13 contain an infinite-loop vulnerability in SampleCountChannel. The helper roundListSizeUp() rounds a sample-list size up to the next power of two using repeated unsigned left shifts, which terminates for normal values but fails for UINT_MAX: the sequence reaches 0x80000000, and the next left shift wraps the 32-bit value to 0. Because 0 remains less than UINT_MAX, the loop never progresses and never exits. The bug is reachable through public OpenEXRUtil APIs, either by editing the sample-count buffer through SampleCountChannel::Edit (whose destructor calls endEdit()) or by calling SampleCountChannel::set(x, y, UINT_MAX) on a valid pixel. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13.
Bento4 1.6.0.0 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in AP4_AvccAtom::Create() and AP4_HvccAtom::Create(). A specially crafted MP4 file containing an avcC or hvcC atom with a declared size smaller than the atom header size can cause the payload-size calculation to wrap to a large unsigned value. The resulting invalid buffer allocation and copy operations can cause application termination, leading to denial of service.
libsndfile 1.2.2 contains an integer overflow vulnerability in mat4_read_header() when parsing crafted MAT4 (MATLAB v4) files.
FFmpeg before 9.0 has a signed integer overflow in libavformat/mov.c. In mov_read_ispe(), uint32_t width/height values from a crafted HEIF ispe box are stored into signed int fields without bounds checking, allowing values exceeding INT_MAX to become negative. In read_image_grid(), accumulating these values causes signed integer overflow (undefined behavior per C17 section 6.5), which on x86 wraps to a small positive value, bypassing downstream validity checks.
Esri LERC is an open-source image or raster format which supports rapid encoding and decoding for any pixel type. A Heap based Out-of-Bounds Write via Integer Overflow in LERC versions 4.1.0 and earlier may allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker who can pass specifically crafted attacker controlled imagery to an application that uses LERC to crash the application, leading to a denial of service.
phar_tar_number() parses the octal size field of a TAR header into a uint32_t with no overflow check. The field is 11 octal digits wide and holds values up to 0x1FFFFFFFF, so a size above 0xFFFFFFFF silently wraps. The parser then skips the wrong number of data blocks and interprets attacker-controlled file content as the next TAR header, which lets a crafted archive inject entries that PharData reports and extracts as if they were genuine.
Integer overflow or wraparound in Microsoft Office Outlook allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
The SOAP HTTP client guards its response buffer growth with a check that relies on signed integer overflow, which is undefined behaviour and is not guaranteed to trigger. When the check is optimised away, a malicious SOAP server can make the client allocate a buffer far smaller than the data it then writes into it, producing a heap buffer overflow.
An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the MPack Node API in MPack 1.1.1 on 32-bit platforms. When parsing a specially crafted MessagePack array32 or map32 object with an excessively large element count, the page allocation size calculation in mpack_tree_parse_children() can overflow size_t and produce an undersized allocation. Subsequent parsing writes mpack_node_data_t records beyond the allocated heap buffer, resulting in heap-buffer-overflow, memory corruption, and denial of service.
