CVSS v3.1 |
| MP4Parser does not adequately validate MP4 box sizes. A malformed box can cause parsing to make no forward progress and repeatedly process the same input. |
| The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'status' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.35 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The malicious payload is stored unconditionally because debug logging is enabled by default, and the debug-log viewer is accessible to anyone holding the site-wide Support PIN (an HMAC-MD5 of AUTH_SALT displayed in wp-admin), meaning the injected script will execute against the administrator's session during ordinary support or troubleshooting workflows. |
| The miniOrange OTP Login, Verification and SMS Notifications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.5.8 via the `mo_by_pass_login()` function. This is due to `mo_delay_otp_process()` short-circuiting the authentication flow before password validation or the administrator intent gate (added in 5.5.6) can run, combined with the Delay OTP grace flag (`mov_last_verified_dttm`) being stored as a `user_meta` row keyed solely by target user ID with no binding to the originating session, cookie, IP address, or device. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any WordPress user — including administrators — by submitting only a known username with the `mo_wp_login_intent=otp` parameter and any non-empty password, thereby inheriting a legitimate user's open Delay OTP grace window without ever supplying correct credentials. Exploitation requires the site to have OTP-only login (`wp_login_skip_password=1`, `wp_login_skip_password_fallback=0`) and Delay OTP Verification (`wp_login_delay_otp=1`) enabled, and the target account must currently be within its configured Delay OTP interval. |
| Out-of-bounds read in the VarOpt union deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
var_opt_union::deserialize() read the 32-byte preamble of a non-empty union after checking that only 8 bytes were available, so a truncated serialized union could cause a read of up to 24 bytes past the end of the input. For such inputs, the size remaining for the embedded sketch was also computed by an unsigned subtraction that could wrap around, so the embedded sketch's own size checks no longer limited reads to the input. The bytes read can become part of the deserialized union's state. This can cause a crash (denial of service) and could expose adjacent memory contents.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 2.0.0-incubating before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize VarOpt unions from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| Out-of-bounds read in the compact Theta sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
compact_theta_sketch::deserialize() and wrapped_compact_theta_sketch::wrap() read header fields before checking that the input was long enough. For the compressed format, the size check could be defeated by a 32-bit overflow, and two header fields that control decoding were not validated; this also affected deserialization from a stream. A crafted or truncated sketch could cause a read past the end of the input. In the compressed case the over-read can be large, and the bytes read can become part of the deserialized sketch. This can cause a crash (denial of service) and could expose adjacent memory contents.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 3.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Theta sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in the CPC sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
A crafted serialized CPC sketch passed to cpc_sketch::deserialize(), from either a byte buffer or a stream, can cause the decompressor to read past the end of the compressed data, because the read position was only checked after decoding finished. In the hybrid flavor, it can also cause a write outside an internal heap buffer, because decoded row indices were not validated. Several other header fields and decoded values, including lg_k, were also not validated. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 2.0.0-incubating before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize CPC sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| Heap buffer overflow in the HLL sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
When deserializing a sketch in LIST mode, from either a byte buffer or a stream, the coupon count was read from the input and used as the number of entries to copy into a fixed buffer of 8 entries, without checking it against the buffer's capacity. A crafted sketch could cause a write of up to 988 bytes past the end of this internal heap buffer. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 1.0.0-incubating before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize HLL sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| The Tourfic – AI Powered Travel Booking, Hotel Booking & Car Rental plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'type' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post filter applied on save does not strip the payload because angle-bracket characters are not required, allowing the unescaped attribute value to survive storage and fire as a live event handler in the unauthenticated (guest) rendering branch. |
| Missing authorization in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| Improper resolution of path equivalence in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.3.3, 4.2.9, 4.1.14, and 4.0.23, Shovel does not format state logged by the crash reporter and can leave unencrypted credentials in a crash dump file. the shovel worker genserver processes does not implement the formatstatus/2 callback. When these processes crash (e.g., due to network partitions, connection failures), the OTP SASL error handler writes the full process state , including plaintext AMQP passwords and URIs , to the error log. This is particularly severe for the shovel worker, which stores deobfuscated plaintext URIs (including amqp://user:password@host format) in its genserver state for the entire process Automatic Credential Exposure: Shovel worker crashes (common during network partitions) automatically write plaintext upstream/downstream passwords to error logs No Special Configuration Needed: Unlike DEBUG logging, SASL error reports are always active Broad. This issue is fixed in versions 4.3.3, 4.2.9, 4.1.14, and 4.0.23. |
| MultipartInputStream performs inefficient boundary matching and unnecessary buffer copying. Crafted multipart input can force excessive boundary comparisons and repeated copying. |
| ExtUtils::Typemaps::STL::Vector versions before 1.05 for Perl allocate a 32 GiB array on an empty list.
The OUTPUT typemaps call av_extend( av, len-1 ). On an empty list, this undeflows, and av_extend will allocate an array with 2^32 slots, leading to memory exhaustion. |
| The Document Gallery WordPress plugin through 5.1.1 does not perform any capability or ownership check when generating a gallery on demand, allowing unauthenticated users to enumerate and disclose the titles, descriptions and direct file URLs of media attached to unpublished, private or trashed content. |
| Use after free in Windows Bind Filter Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Double free in Microsoft Office Outlook allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) Enclave allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Adobe Experience Manager is affected by a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this issue by manipulating the DOM environment to execute malicious JavaScript within the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a crafted webpage. Scope is changed. |
| Dockhand is a Docker management application. Prior to 1.0.34, the in-browser container terminal endpoint /api/containers/<id>/exec does not enforce authentication on the WebSocket upgrade request. When an unauthenticated attacker has network reach to Dockhand, knows a target container ID, and targets a container with an interactive shell, the attacker can open a raw WebSocket terminal session and execute commands inside a known target container. This allows unauthenticated command execution inside the container, with possible host compromise when the container has sensitive mounts or privileged execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.34. |
| destructive_command_guard (dcg) is a command-line safety tool that blocks destructive shell commands before AI coding agents run them. Prior to 0.6.6, nested or unclosed substitutions are recursively rescanned after an inner scan returns unterminated, producing exponential-time work. The affected scanners are reached through split_command_segments in src/packs/mod.rs. a destructive command followed by nested or unclosed $( or $(( sequences. nested or unclosed $( and $(( sequences cause repeated rescanning of the remaining command suffix. a hung PreToolUse hook fails open, allowing the destructive command to proceed. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.6. |
