CVSS v3.1 |
In Foxit PDF Reader before 2024.3, and PDF Editor before 2024.3 and 13.x before 13.1.4, an attacker can replace an update file with a Trojan horse via side loading, because the update service lacks integrity validation for the updater. Attacker-controlled code may thus be executed.
matrix-rust-sdk is an implementation of a Matrix client-server library in Rust. The `UserIdentity::is_verified()` method in the matrix-sdk-crypto crate before version 0.7.2 doesn't take into account the verification status of the user's own identity while performing the check and may as a result return a value contrary to what is implied by its name and documentation. If the method is used to decide whether to perform sensitive operations towards a user identity, a malicious homeserver could manipulate the outcome in order to make the identity appear trusted. This is not a typical usage of the method, which lowers the impact. The method itself is not used inside the `matrix-sdk-crypto` crate. The 0.7.2 release of the `matrix-sdk-crypto` crate includes a fix. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A mass assignment vulnerability exists in Pantera CRM versions 401.152 and 402.072. This flaw allows authenticated users to modify any user attribute, including roles, by injecting additional parameters via profile management functions.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. A vulnerability in versions prior to 6.5.7 and 7.1.0 allows SQL injection when Parse Server is configured to use the PostgreSQL database. The algorithm to detect SQL injection has been improved in versions 6.5.7 and 7.1.0. No known workarounds are available.
Improper access control in UEFI firmware in some Intel(R) Server M20NTP Family may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
Improper access control in the EDECCSSA user leaf function for some Intel(R) Processors with Intel(R) SGX may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
Incorrect Access Control vulnerability in Atos Eviden IDRA before 2.6.1 could allow the possibility to obtain CA signing in an illegitimate way.
An issue was discovered in the friendlycaptcha_official (aka Integration of Friendly Captcha) extension before 0.1.4 for TYPO3. The extension fails to check the requirement of the captcha field in submitted form data, allowing a remote user to bypass the captcha check. This only affects the captcha integration for the ext:form extension.
The salt.auth.pki module does not properly authenticate callers. The "password" field contains a public certificate which is validated against a CA certificate by the module. This is not pki authentication, as the caller does not need access to the corresponding private key for the authentication attempt to be accepted.
Insecure Access Control in Safe Exam Browser (SEB) = 3.5.0 on Windows. The vulnerability allows an attacker to share clipboard data between the SEB kiosk mode and the underlying system, compromising exam integrity. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can bypass exam controls and gain an unfair advantage during exams.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Xiongmai AHB7804R-MH-V2, AHB8004T-GL, AHB8008T-GL, AHB7004T-GS-V3, AHB7004T-MHV2, AHB8032F-LME and XM530_R80X30-PQ_8M. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Sofia Service. The manipulation with the input ff00000000000000000000000000f103250000007b202252657422203a203130302c202253657373696f6e494422203a202230783022207d0a leads to improper access controls. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-260605 was assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
The Mister org.mistergroup.shouldianswer application 1.4.264 for Android enables any installed application (with no permissions) to place phone calls without user interaction by sending a crafted intent via the org.mistergroup.shouldianswer.ui.default_dialer.DefaultDialerActivity component.
fprintd through 1.94.3 lacks a security attention mechanism, and thus unexpected actions might be authorized by "auth sufficient pam_fprintd.so" for Sudo. NOTE: the supplier disputes this because they believe issue resolution would involve modifying the PAM configuration to restrict pam_fprintd.so to front-ends that implement a proper attention mechanism, not modifying pam_fprintd.so or fprintd.
An issue was discovered in Stormshield Network Security (SNS) 4.0.0 through 4.3.25, 4.4.0 through 4.7.5, and 4.8.0. Certain manipulations allow restarting in single-user mode despite the activation of secure boot. The following versions fix this: 4.3.27, 4.7.6, and 4.8.2.
Improper access control in some Intel(R) Graphics software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
casgate is an Open Source Identity and Access Management system. In affected versions `casgate` allows remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information via GET request to an API endpoint. This issue has been addressed in PR #201 which is pending merge. An attacker could use `id` parameter of GET requests with value `anonymous/ anonymous` to bypass authorization on certain API endpoints. Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could lead to account takeover, privilege escalation or provide attacker with credential to other services. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Siklu TG Terragraph devices before approximately 2.1.1 have a hardcoded root password that has been revealed via a brute force attack on an MD5 hash. It can be used for "debug login" by an admin. NOTE: the vulnerability is not fixed by the 2.1.1 firmware; instead, it is fixed in newer hardware, which would typically be used with firmware 2.1.1 or later.
Westermo EDW-100 devices through 2024-05-03 have a hidden root user account with a hardcoded password that cannot be changed. NOTE: this is a serial-to-Ethernet converter that should not be placed at the edge of the network.
The com.callassistant.android (aka AI Call Assistant & Screener) application 1.174 for Android enables any installed application (with no permissions) to place phone calls without user interaction by sending a crafted intent via the com.callassistant.android.ui.call.incall.InCallActivity component.
| The CBIS/NCS Manager API is vulnerable to an authentication bypass. By sending a specially crafted HTTP header, an unauthenticated user can gain unauthorized access to API functions. This flaw allows attackers to reach restricted or sensitive endpoints of the HTTP API without providing any valid credentials. The root cause of this vulnerability lies in a weak verification mechanism within the authentication implementation present in the Nginx Podman container on the CBIS/NCS Manager host machine.
The risk can be partially mitigated by restricting access to the management network using external firewall. |
