CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw has been found in editso fuso up to 1.0.4-beta.7. This affects the function PenetrateRsaAndAesHandshake of the file src/net/penetrate/handshake/mod.rs. This manipulation of the argument priv_key causes inadequate encryption strength. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is reported as difficult.
A Credential Exposure Vulnerability exists in the above-mentioned product and version. The vulnerability is due to using HTTP resulting in credentials being sent in clear text.
Cleartext storage of sensitive information was discovered in Click Programming Software version v3.60. The vulnerability can be exploited by a local user with access to the file system, while an administrator session is active, to steal credentials stored in clear text.
Kaseya Rapid Fire Tools Network Detective 2.0.16.0 has Unencrypted Credentials (for privileged access) stored in the collector.txt configuration file.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Enpass Password Manager up to 6.9.5 on Windows. This issue affects some unknown processing. The manipulation leads to cleartext storage of sensitive information in memory. An attack has to be approached locally. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. Upgrading to version 6.10.1 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
On Arista CloudVision Appliance (CVA) affected releases running on appliances that support hardware disk encryption (DCA-350E-CV only), the disk encryption might not be successfully performed. This results in the disks remaining unsecured and data on them
R Radio Network FM Transmitter 1.07 allows unauthenticated attackers to access the admin user's password through the system.cgi endpoint, enabling authentication bypass and FM station setup access.
This vulnerability exists in the TP-Link Archer C50 due to presence of terminal access on a serial interface without proper access control. An attacker with physical access could exploit this by accessing the UART shell on the vulnerable device. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to obtain Wi-Fi credentials of the targeted system.
dectalk-tts is a Node package to interact with the aeiou Dectalk web API. In `dectalk-tts@1.0.0`, network requests to the third-party API are sent over HTTP, which is unencrypted. Unencrypted traffic can be easily intercepted and modified by attackers. Anyone who uses the package could be the victim of a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. The network request was upgraded to HTTPS in version `1.0.1`. There are no workarounds, but some precautions include not sending any sensitive information and carefully verifying the API response before saving it.
SecuSTATION Camera V2.5.5.3116-S50-SMA-B20160811A and lower allows an unauthenticated attacker to download device configuration files via a crafted request.
Forever KidsWatch Call Me KW-50 R36_YDR_A3PW_GM7S_V1.0_2019_07_15_16.19.24_cob_h suffers from Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information due to lack of encryption in device-server communication.
Sensitive data could be exposed to non- privileged users in a configuration file. Local access to the computer with a low- privileged account is required to access the configuration file containing the sensitive data.
An issue was discovered on Marbella KR8s Dashcam FF 2.0.8 devices. When a new SD card is inserted into the dashcam, the existing password is written onto the SD card in cleartext automatically. An attacker with temporary access to the dashcam can switch the SD card to steal this password.
| CWE-312: Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability exists that exposes test
credentials in the firmware binary |
Missing authentication for critical function in Azure IoT Explorer allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Cleartext transmission of sensitive information in Azure IoT Explorer allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
Bulwark Webmail is a self-hosted webmail client for Stalwart Mail Server. Prior to version 1.4.10, the GET /api/auth/session endpoint previously included the user's plaintext password in the JSON response. This exposed credentials to browser logs, local caches, and network proxie. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.10.
A flaw was found in rhn-proxy. This vulnerability may allow the rhn-proxy to transmit user credentials in clear-text when it accesses RHN Satellite. This could lead to information disclosure, where sensitive authentication details are exposed to unauthorized parties.
Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric MobileHMI versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS versions 11.02 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric MC Works64 all versions, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions MobileHMI versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, and Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS versions 11.02 and prior allows a local attacker to disclose the SQL Server credentials stored in plaintext within the local SQLite file by exploiting this vulnerability, when the local caching feature using SQLite is enabled and SQL authentication is used for the SQL Server authentication. As a result, the unauthorized attacker could access the SQL Server and disclose, tamper with, or destroy data on the server, potentially cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition on the system.
Cleartext Storage of Sensitive Information in GUI vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric MobileHMI versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS versions 11.02 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric MC Works64 all versions, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS64 versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions ICONICS Suite versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions MobileHMI versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions Hyper Historian versions 10.97.3 and prior, Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions AnalytiX versions 10.97.3 and prior, and Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions GENESIS versions 11.02 and prior allows a local attacker to disclose the SQL Server credentials displayed in plain text in the GUI of the Hyper Historian Splitter feature by exploiting this vulnerability, when SQL authentication is used for the SQL Server authentication. As a result, the unauthorized attacker could access the SQL Server and disclose, tamper with, or destroy data on the server, potentially cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition on the system.
