CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI/pwrctrl: tc9563: Fix parsing the integrated Ethernet MAC Endpoint node
DSP3 has an integrated Ethernet MAC Endpoint which has its own set of
config registers for configuring settings such as ASPM. The Endpoint device
has two physical functions and those two functions share the same settings.
Parse the Endpoint node under DSP3 instead of parsing both functions. The
existing parsing logic also has one OOB issue as parsing both functions
will result in accessing past the tc9563_pwrctrl->cfg array. |
| An integer overflow in the BSON document encoding component of the MongoDB Python Driver's bundled native extension may occur when a single document is built from an unusually large amount of caller-supplied data. Size arithmetic is performed in a signed 32-bit type, and the guard meant to catch the overflow is written in a form whose behavior is not defined by the C language standard. A party with no privileges who can place a very large value into data that an application encodes may, depending on how the native extension was built, cause a write outside the bounds of an allocated buffer inside the application's own process. |
| Out of bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to script injection. |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Altera Trusted Firmware on HPS allows Exploitation of Improperly Configured or Implemented Memory Protections.
This issue affects Trusted Firmware: through socfpga_v2.14.0. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager. This local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in NetworkManager's dhclient backend when processing malformed Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD) URLs. A local user can exploit this flaw to escalate privileges by triggering a script via a crafted MUD URL, provided an administrator has explicitly configured NetworkManager to use dhclient. This issue does not affect default configurations of NetworkManager. |
| Post-authentication Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability has been identified in the SMA1000 Appliance Management Console (AMC) which in specific conditions could potentially enable a remote authenticated attacker as administrator to execute arbitrary OS commands, resulting in remote code execution. |
| Insufficient input sanitization of shell metacharacters in the Brocade SANnav CLI scripting component permits authenticated users to break out of restricted execution contexts on managed switches. An attacker with command execution permissions can leverage this flaw to run unauthorized shell commands across target fabric switches, bypassing command allow-lists and obtaining full administrative switch access. This vulnerability affects all Brocade SANnav versions before 3.0.1a. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to command execution. |
| Root Browser Classic 3.3.0 passes the path of a selected SQLite database to an operating-system shell without safely separating the filename from the command. |
| NVIDIA OpenShell for all platforms contains a vulnerability where a malicious gateway could cause OS command injection. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, and information disclosure. |
| KubeEdge is an open source system for extending native containerized application orchestration capabilities to hosts at Edge. From 1.21.0 until 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1, ConfigUpdateJob processing in edge/pkg/taskmanager/actions/configupdatejob.go concatenates authenticated user-controlled updateFields values into the keadm config-update command and executes it through a system shell. A user with permission to create or modify ConfigUpdateJob resources can include shell metacharacters in the complete --set value and cause arbitrary commands to execute on an enrolled target edge node with the privileges of the KubeEdge process handling the job. This issue is fixed in versions 1.21.2, 1.22.2, and 1.23.1. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the openmediavault-md plugin of OpenMediaVault v8.0.4-1 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root via injecting shell metacharacters. |
| FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the Juniper router integration plugin. The _log() function in src/juniper_plugin/fastnetmon_juniper.php (lines 117-118) constructs shell commands by concatenating the $msg parameter directly into exec() calls: exec("echo `date` \"- {FASTNETMON] - " . $msg . " \" >> " . $FILE_LOG_TMP). The $msg variable contains unsanitized data derived from command-line arguments argv[1] through argv[3], which represent the attack IP address, direction, and power. While FastNetMon's C++ core currently passes IP addresses via inet_ntoa() (which only produces safe dotted-decimal notation), the PHP script performs no input validation or shell escaping. If the script is invoked directly, by another orchestration system, or if future code changes pass string-sourced IPs, arbitrary commands can be injected. The correct fix is to replace exec() with file_put_contents() or use escapeshellarg() on all parameters. |
| openNDS before 11.0.0 is susceptible to unauthenticated OS command execution via shell command injection through the fas query parameter on the /opennds_preauth/ endpoint because of libopennds.sh. |
| A improper neutralization of special elements used in an os command ('os command injection') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox 4.4.0 through 4.4.8 may allow attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via <insert attack vector here> |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the killSessionSync function (lib/agent-runtime.ts) of 23blocks-OS ai-maestro v0.24.17 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted input. |
| An out-of-bounds write in the connection-monitoring logic of the MongoDB C Driver may allow an unauthenticated party who controls name resolution and the responses of the hosts named in a client's connection string to write beyond the end of a heap buffer. This may cause the application using the driver to terminate unexpectedly. |
| Vector is a high-performance observability data pipeline. From 0.15.0 until 0.57.0, the logstash source reads a 32-bit compressed-frame length from the network and uses it to size an in-memory buffer without an upper bound. An unauthenticated remote peer that can reach the default 0.0.0.0:5044 listener can send a minimal frame declaring a multi-gigabyte payload, causing an excessive allocation that can abort Vector or invoke the host OOM killer. Because the allocation follows the declared length rather than bytes transmitted, the attacker has low resource cost, and process termination can halt log ingestion for every tenant on a shared pipeline. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.0. |
| JabRef is a desktop application for managing BibTeX and BibLaTeX libraries. Prior to 6.0-alpha.6, when jabsrv or JabRef's built-in HTTP server is enabled, the GET /better-bibtex/cayw endpoint accepts an external command query parameter and CAYWQueryParams.getCommand() passes it through CAYWResource.getCitation() into PushToSublimeText.getCommandLine(). On Unix-like systems, PushToSublimeText combines this untrusted cite-command prefix and citation keys into a string executed through sh -c by ProcessBuilder without shell escaping. A client that can cause a localhost request with application=sublime can inject shell metacharacters and execute operating-system commands as the JabRef user when a valid Sublime Text command path is configured and the victim completes the CAYW selection dialog. The built-in server is disabled by default, so exploitation requires the victim to enable it or run jabsrv. This issue is fixed in version 6.0-alpha.6. |
