| Net-SNMP through 5.9.5.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the SMUX module where smux_accept() performs an unauthenticated blocking read without timeout on newly accepted connections. An unauthenticated remote client can connect to the SMUX listener and send no data, causing the single-threaded snmpd main loop to block indefinitely and suspend all SNMP processing. |
| Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.0 until 0.11.1, the unauthenticated POST /oauth/backchannel-logout handler in backend/open_webui/utils/oauth.py fetched the OIDC discovery document and signing keys before validating a submitted logout token. Each request repeated uncached network fetches, and the signing-key lookup blocked the async event loop, so requests carrying invalid tokens could stall the single-worker instance and amplify traffic to the identity provider when ENABLE_OAUTH_BACKCHANNEL_LOGOUT was enabled. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1. |
| pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev101, EventManager in src/pyload/core/managers/event_manager.py appends a Client object to the clients list for each unique uuid submitted to the authenticated getEvents API endpoint, but get_events does not invoke the available clean method to remove inactive clients. An authenticated user can repeatedly submit unique UUID values, causing retained client objects and process memory to grow without bound even after requests stop. The resulting memory exhaustion can trigger an operating-system out-of-memory termination of pyLoad or host-wide instability and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 0.5.0b3.dev101. |

| Publishing limits the compressed size of a VSIX (ovsx.publishing.max-content-size, 512 MB by default) but nothing limited how large an entry becomes when opened.
On the first request to /vscode/unpkg/{namespace}/{extension}/{version}/{path}, WebResourceService opened the entry with ZipFile.getInputStream() and passed the decompressed stream to Files.copy(), which ran to the end of the stream without counting bytes written. The result was cached under java.io.tmpdir, and that cache evicted by entry count (150), not by size, so it placed no bound on disk usage.
A publisher with access only to their own namespace could therefore upload a small, highly compressible VSIX and cause the server to write far larger files to the temp filesystem — repeating with different files or versions, since a repeat request is served from the cache.
Impact observed: the temp filesystem filled; requests for files not already cached returned 500 with No space left on device; a failed extraction left a partial cache file that blocked later attempts at that path; publishing failed with Failed to read extension file. Metadata and already-cached files kept working, and the server did not stop.
Triggering the extraction needs no authentication — only the upload does. |

| Affected versions of MISP do not consistently apply the existing authentication-failure logging throttle.
Two API authentication failure branches wrote directly to the Log model:
- API requests with no authentication key;
- requests supplying an API key with an incorrect length
Unlike other authentication failures, these paths bypassed _shouldLog(), so every request could create another durable auth_fail entry.

| Hoverfly is an open source API simulation tool. Prior to version 1.12.8, remote post-serve actions use `http.DefaultClient` without any timeout configuration. When the remote endpoint is unreachable or intentionally slow (accepts TCP connection but never responds), each triggered proxy request spawns a goroutine that blocks indefinitely on `http.DefaultClient.Do()`. An attacker can cause unbounded goroutine accumulation leading to memory exhaustion and process crash (OOM kill). Unlike local post-serve action execution, this requires no binary execution, only a URL pointing to a non-responsive endpoint. Version 1.12.8 patches the issue. |
| Conform, a type-safe form validation library, allows the parsing of nested objects in the form of object.property. From 1.8.0 until 1.19.4, the parseSubmission future API in packages/conform-dom/formdata.ts repeatedly scans FormData or URLSearchParams entries by each unique field name. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a crafted form containing many unique names, causing excessive synchronous CPU work and denial of service in an application that passes the submission to parseSubmission. Applications should continue to enforce request parsing limits before invoking Conform. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.4. |
| containerd is an open-source container runtime. Prior to 1.7.35, 2.0.12, 2.2.8, and 2.3.5, containerd on Linux with the CRI plugin enabled can indefinitely block the drainExecSyncIO goroutine in internal/cri/server/container_execsync.go when CRI ExecSync is used by exec probes or lifecycle hooks that launch long-lived background child processes retaining standard input and output pipes. The input and output drain phase has no default timeout and did not stop when the request context was canceled, so repeated ExecSync invocations can accumulate blocked goroutines and host memory. The resulting resource exhaustion can cause the OOM killer to terminate containerd, leaving the container runtime unavailable until restart. Deployments not using containerd's CRI implementation and containers not running on Linux are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.35, 2.0.12, 2.2.8, and 2.3.5. |
