CVE-2026-98145 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: reject a command chain that carries no commands A chain whose command_count is zero passes the payload length check, because struct_size(payload, data, 0) is just the header. The fill loop then does not run, so offset stays zero and the request is submitted with a zero-length buffer. On firmware without AIE2_NPU_COMMAND that ends at the opcode check, since op is still ERT_INVALID_CMD and aie2_get_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_MAX_OPCODE. aie2_get_npu_chain_msg_op() answers MSG_OP_CHAIN_EXEC_NPU whatever it is given, so there the submission continues to drm_clflush_virt_range(cmd_buf, 0), which reads the byte before the buffer and faults on the vmap guard page. EXEC_CMD is reachable by any process that can open the render node. Reject the request instead.
CVE-2026-97196 2026-09-30 9.1 Critical
Improper Validation of Unsafe Equivalence in Input vulnerability in Liquid Web / StellarWP GiveWP allows Authentication Bypass. This issue affects GiveWP: from n/a through 4.16.9.
CVE-2026-98117 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-30 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cachefiles: Fix potential UAF/KASAN warning Currently, trace_cachefiles_coherency() is being passed a pointer to a __be64 lain over the coherency data in struct cachefiles_xattr so that it can display the first 8 bytes. However, the data is of variable length and could even be 0 bytes. This could lead to a UAF or KASAN warning. Fix this by making sure the buffer has room for at least 8 bytes and that those 8 bytes are pre-cleared. Further, those bytes are not 8-byte aligned, so fix the tracepoint to extract the data as four 2-byte words (they are 2-byte aligned) and reassemble the __be64. The compiler will convert this into a single 8-byte load where the CPU supports it.
CVE-2025-33207 1 Nvidia 7 Bluefield Ga, Bluefield Lts23, Bluefield Lts24 and 4 more 2026-09-30 6.8 Medium
NVIDIA ConnectX and Bluefield contain a vulnerability in a control register, where a user with VF access could cause improper access control for the register interface by sending a malicious command to the firmware. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-100564 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw 2026-09-30 5.4 Medium
OpenClaw versions before 2026.8.1 fail to neutralize spreadsheet formula characters in participant display names within attendance CSV exports. Attackers can inject formula-like cells that execute with spreadsheet user permissions when the export is opened in formula-enabled applications.
CVE-2026-102720 1 Eclipse 1 Threadx Netx Duo 2026-09-30 N/A
A DHCP server, or anyone on the LAN who answers a DISCOVER first, can make the client read about a kilobyte past the end of the received message. The option walk keeps a pointer and an offset in step, and the only bound check uses the offset: ```c /* addons/dhcp/nxd_dhcp_client.c:7538, 7572 */ while (i < length - 1) { ... size = *(++data); /* data moves 1: type -> length byte */ data += size + 1; /* data moves size + 1 more */ i += size + 1; /* i moves only size + 1 */ } ``` A TLV option occupies size + 2 bytes. `data` is advanced by size + 2 in total, `i` by size + 1, so the offset falls one byte behind the real read position for every option the walk skips. After enough skipped options the check `i < length - 1` still holds while `data` is already past the end of the message, and the subsequent read of the type and length bytes comes from whatever follows. A single OFFER carrying a long run of skippable options is enough: ``` ERROR: AddressSanitizer: heap-buffer-overflow READ of size 1 at 0x61b000000794 thread T5 #0 _nx_dhcp_search_buffer addons/dhcp/nxd_dhcp_client.c:7541 #1 _nx_dhcp_get_option_value addons/dhcp/nxd_dhcp_client.c:7082 0x61b000000794 is located 164 bytes to the right of 1648-byte region ``` A well formed OFFER through the same path is handled normally, the client records the offer and moves to REQUESTING, so the difference is the option layout rather than the harness. The read runs in the DHCP client thread while the client is still unconfigured, so it happens on every boot in reach of a hostile DHCP responder. The values read are used to configure the interface, which is how the disclosed bytes become observable. Advance `i` by size + 2, or derive the bound from `data` rather than keeping a second counter.
CVE-2026-98110 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: bound firmware ID by TLV length The firmware ID is treated as a NUL-terminated string even though the TLV length is its only boundary. If the value does not contain a NUL terminator, snprintf() can read beyond the received response. Limit the conversion to the advertised TLV value length.
CVE-2026-102822 1 Eugeny 1 Russh 2026-09-29 3.7 Low
Russh is a Rust SSH client and server library. Prior to 0.63.1, a connection configured to permit mac=none can negotiate it with a MAC-requiring CTR or CBC block cipher because the selection logic validates needs_mac() only when MAC selection fails. A remote peer can then send a packet with a decrypted length of zero, causing russh/src/cipher/mod.rs to shrink the previously read block before indexing buffer.buffer[16..], which panics and terminates the connection task. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.1.
CVE-2026-98127 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb/client: validate new EOF for insert range smb3_insert_range() does not check if the new file size (i_size + len) is valid. This allows FALLOC_FL_INSERT_RANGE to bypass RLIMIT_FSIZE, exceed s_maxbytes, or produce a size outside the loff_t range. Use check_add_overflow() to calculate the new EOF. Validate it with inode_newsize_ok() before modifying the file. Reproducer, using a file on a CIFS mount: bash -c ' FILE=/mnt/cifs/repro trap "" SIGXFSZ ulimit -f 3072 # RLIMIT_FSIZE = 3 MiB # A regular write is stopped at 3 MiB. dd if=/dev/zero of="$FILE" bs=1M count=4 status=none stat -c "size after write: %s" "$FILE" # Insert 2 MiB into a 2 MiB file. truncate -s 2M "$FILE" fallocate -i -o 0 -l 2M "$FILE" stat -c "size after insert: %s" "$FILE" ' Before this change, the regular write stops at the 3 MiB limit, but insert range grows the file to 4 MiB: dd: error writing '/mnt/cifs/repro': File too large size after write: 3145728 size after insert: 4194304 After this change, insert range also fails at the limit and leaves the 2 MiB file unchanged: dd: error writing '/mnt/cifs/repro': File too large size after write: 3145728 fallocate: fallocate failed: File too large size after insert: 2097152
CVE-2026-69360 1 Microsoft 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more 2026-09-29 8.8 High
Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-102296 1 Zoneminder 1 Zoneminder 2026-09-29 6.5 Medium
ZoneMinder before 1.38.4 contains static buffer overflow vulnerabilities in RemoteCameraHttp::GetResponse() that allow malicious HTTP cameras or intercepting attackers to overflow fixed-size buffers by sending oversized response headers. Attackers can send crafted HTTP responses with oversized status messages, Connection headers, Content-Type values, or multipart boundaries to corrupt parser state and crash the capture process or corrupt memory.
CVE-2026-98021 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: reject oversized tx_queue_len at netlink parse time rtnl_create_link() assigns IFLA_TXQLEN directly to dev->tx_queue_len without going through netif_change_tx_queue_len(), so a device created with "ip link add ... txqueuelen 500000" bypasses the S16_MAX cap and still triggers the oversized ring allocations in pfifo_fast, tun and tap. The veth peer nest (rtnl_nla_parse_ifinfomsg()) and the RTM_NEWLINK-on-existing-device path reach the same sinks. Enforce the cap in ifla_policy instead: IFLA_TXQLEN becomes NLA_POLICY_FULL_RANGE(NLA_U32, &txqlen_range) with txqlen_range = { .min = 0, .max = S16_MAX }. All netlink consumers parse against this policy - rtnl_setlink(), rtnl_newlink() (create and change), and the veth peer nest - so every netlink path is capped at parse time and rejects the attribute with -ERANGE plus a proper "integer out of range" extack message before any device state is modified (the RTM_SETLINK half-application wart is gone with it). Document the bound in the rt-link.yaml netlink spec. Conditions to recreate the bug: - CONFIG_NET_SCHED=y, CONFIG_VETH=y, CONFIG_USER_NS=y, CONFIG_NET_NS=y. - Unprivileged user in a fresh user+net namespace (unshare -Urn): ip link add v0 txqueuelen 500000 type veth peer name v1 -> on the fixed kernel this is rejected with -ERANGE ("integer out of range" extack) instead of installing an oversized tx_queue_len that later inflates pfifo_fast/tun/tap ring allocations. - ip link set v0 txqueuelen 500000 is likewise rejected at parse time.
CVE-2026-69359 1 Microsoft 21 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 18 more 2026-09-29 7.8 High
Heap-based buffer overflow in Active Directory Domain Services allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-97587 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: RISC-V: store available counter mask as bitmap The available-counter mask was a single unsigned long, but iteration uses RISCV_MAX_COUNTERS, which is 64. On RV32 that reads past the object. Filling with an unsigned-long bit at index 32 and above is also wrong. Use DECLARE_BITMAP and set_bit/bitmap helpers. Walk each bitmap word into CFG_MATCH when checking events, when allocating an index, and when stopping all counters. Set the counter base to i times BITS_PER_LONG. Share the CFG_MATCH ecall through a small helper so the 32-bit argument split is not duplicated. On qemu-system-riscv32 the probe bitmap has bits above XLEN set, so the first word alone is not enough. [pjw@kernel.org: updated to apply; fixed checkpatch.pl issues]
CVE-2026-69367 1 Microsoft 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Standard XPS allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
CVE-2026-69376 1 Microsoft 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Standard XPS allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally.
CVE-2026-55193 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-09-29 8.8 High
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP clients using TS Gateway accept a server-controlled max_xmit_frag value in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rpc_bind.c without bounding it to the 4088-byte ReceiveFragment allocation. A malicious gateway can advertise 65535 and then send a response fragment of the same length, causing rpc_channel_read in libfreerdp/core/gateway/rpc.c to write up to 65535 bytes into the smaller ReceiveFragment buffer. This can crash the client and may permit code execution through attacker-controlled heap corruption. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0.
CVE-2026-50291 2 Academysoftwarefoundation, Openimageio 2 Openimageio, Openimageio 2026-09-29 5.5 Medium
OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to versions 3.0.16.0 and 3.1.11.0, processing a crafted BMP file through oiiotool or an application linked to OpenImageIO can reach BMP palette handling in src/bmp.imageio/bmpinput.cpp with an empty color table. BmpInput::read_native_scanline then performs an invalid palette read while decoding an RLE-compressed scanline, causing a process crash and denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.16.0 and 3.1.11.0.
CVE-2026-59181 2 Academysoftwarefoundation, Openimageio 2 Openimageio, Openimageio 2026-09-29 6.1 Medium
OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1, A crafted cineon file can supply a numberofelements value greater than the format maximum of eight. cineoninput::open() uses that unchecked value as the loop bound while filling the fixed strings[8] array, writing pointers beyond the stack buffer and into adjacent state, resulting in memory corruption and denial of service. The affected implementation is identified by src/cineon.imageio/cineoninput.cpp, CineonInput::open(), numberOfElements, and strings[8], which define the relevant source path, functions, state, and trigger. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1.
CVE-2026-59956 2 Academysoftwarefoundation, Openimageio 2 Openimageio, Openimageio 2026-09-29 6.1 Medium
OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1, An uncompressed 16-bit iff image with a z-buffer makes iffinput::readimg() allocate a temporary scanline from m_header.rgba_count but copy from it using m_header.pixel_bytes(), whose stride also includes z-buffer bytes. the oversized memcpy reads beyond the temporary heap buffer and copies adjacent memory into the output image, resulting in a crash or disclosure of adjacent heap data. The affected implementation is identified by src/iff.imageio/iffinput.cpp, IffInput::readimg(), m_header.rgba_count, and m_header.pixel_bytes(), which define the relevant source path, functions, state, and trigger. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1.
