CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability exists in Algo Edge up to 2.1.1 - a previously used (legacy) component of navify® Algorithm Suite. The vulnerability impacts the authentication mechanism of this component and could allow an attacker with adjacent access to the laboratory network and the Algo Edge system to craft valid authentication tokens and access the component. Other components of navify® Algorithm Suite are not affected. |
| The use of a hard-coded cryptographic key was discovered in firmware version 3.60 of the Click Plus PLC. The vulnerability relies on the fact that the software contains a hard-coded AES key used to protect the initial messages of a new KOPS session. |
| Reusing a nonce, key pair in encryption issue exists in "FreeFrom - the nostr client" App versions prior to 1.3.5 for Android and iOS. If this vulnerability is exploited, the content of direct messages (DMs) between users may be manipulated by a man-in-the-middle attack. |
| An issue was discovered on Swissphone DiCal-RED 4009 devices. An attacker with access to the file /etc/deviceconfig may recover the administrative device password via password-cracking methods, because unsalted MD5 is used. |
| Use of hard-coded cryptographic key issue exists in AIPHONE IX SYSTEM, IXG SYSTEM, and System Support Software. A network-adjacent unauthenticated attacker may log in to SFTP service and obtain and/or manipulate unauthorized files. |
| NeuVector used a hard-coded cryptographic key embedded in the source
code. At compilation time, the key value was replaced with the secret
key value and used to encrypt sensitive configurations when NeuVector
stores the data. |
| Smadar SPS – CWE-327: Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm |
| Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability in ABB RMC-100, ABB RMC-100 LITE.
When the REST interface is enabled by the user, and an attacker gains access to
source code and control network, the attacker can bypass the REST interface authentication and gain access to MQTT configuration data.
This issue affects RMC-100: from 2105457-043 through 2105457-045; RMC-100 LITE: from 2106229-015 through 2106229-016. |
| The certificate and private key used for providing transport layer security for connections to the web interface (TCP port 443) is hard-coded in the firmware and are shipped with the update files. An attacker can use the private key to perform man-in-the-middle attacks against users of the admin interface. The files are located in /etc/ssl (e.g. salia.local.crt, salia.local.key and salia.local.pem). There is no option to upload/configure custom TLS certificates. |
| ruby-jwt v3.0.0.beta1 was discovered to contain weak encryption. NOTE: the Supplier's perspective is "keysize is not something that is enforced by this library. Currently more recent versions of OpenSSL are enforcing some key sizes and those restrictions apply to the users of this gem also." |
| jsrsasign v11.1.0 was discovered to contain weak encryption. NOTE: this issue has been disputed by a third party who believes that CVE IDs can be assigned for key lengths in specific applications that use a library, and should not be assigned to the default key lengths in a library. This dispute is subject to review under CNA rules 4.1.4, 4.1.14, and other rules; the dispute tagging is not meant to recommend an outcome for this CVE Record. |
| During the initial setup of the device the user connects to an access
point broadcast by the Sight Bulb Pro. During the negotiation, AES
Encryption keys are passed in cleartext. If captured, an attacker may be
able to decrypt communications between the management app and the Sight
Bulb Pro which may include sensitive information such as network
credentials. |
| Use of hard-coded cryptographic key issue exists in "Kura Sushi Official App Produced by EPARK" for Android versions prior to 3.8.5. If this vulnerability is exploited, a local attacker may obtain the login ID and password for the affected product. |
| The JWT secret key is embedded in the egOS WebGUI backend and is readable to the default user. An unauthenticated remote attacker can generate valid HS256 tokens and bypass authentication/authorization due to the use of hard-coded cryptographic key. |
| sftpgo is a full-featured and highly configurable event-driven file transfer solution. Server protocols: SFTP, HTTP/S, FTP/S, WebDAV. The OpenID Connect implementation allows authenticated users to brute force session cookies and thereby gain access to other users' data, since the cookies are generated predictably using the xid library and are therefore unique but not cryptographically secure. This issue was fixed in version v2.6.4, where cookies are opaque and cryptographically secure strings. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in the cryptographic logic used by HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways could allow an authenticated remote attacker to gain shell access. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over the affected systems. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in APOGEE PXC Series (BACnet) (All versions), APOGEE PXC Series (P2 Ethernet) (All versions), TALON TC Series (BACnet) (All versions). Affected devices contain a weak encryption mechanism based on a hard-coded key.
This could allow an attacker to guess or decrypt the password from the cyphertext. |
| openwrt/asu is an image on demand server for OpenWrt based distributions. The request hashing mechanism truncates SHA-256 hashes to only 12 characters. This significantly reduces entropy, making it feasible for an attacker to generate collisions. By exploiting this, a previously built malicious image can be served in place of a legitimate one, allowing the attacker to "poison" the artifact cache and deliver compromised images to unsuspecting users. This can be combined with other attacks, such as a command injection in Imagebuilder that allows malicious users to inject arbitrary commands into the build process, resulting in the production of malicious firmware images signed with the legitimate build key. This has been patched with 920c8a1. |
| Web installer integrity check used weak hash algorithm. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39169. |
| itech iLabClient 3.7.1 relies on the hard-coded YngAYdgAE/kKZYu2F2wm6w== key (found in iLabClient.jar) for local users to read or write to the database. |
