CVSS v3.1 |
| Ghostscript GhostPDL 9.50 through 9.54.0 has a heap-based buffer overflow in sampled_data_finish (called from sampled_data_continue and interp). |
| In Python (aka CPython) up to 3.10.8, the mailcap module does not add escape characters into commands discovered in the system mailcap file. This may allow attackers to inject shell commands into applications that call mailcap.findmatch with untrusted input (if they lack validation of user-provided filenames or arguments). The fix is also back-ported to 3.7, 3.8, 3.9 |
| Issue summary: A certificate with many nameRelativeToCRLIssuer CRL
distribution points causes disproportionate heap growth when OpenSSL caches
X.509 extensions.
Impact summary: Receiving a crafted certificate from a malicious peer can lead
to significant memory pressure and possible Denial of Service in clients or
in servers that solicit client certificates.
CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
Description: A certificate or a set of certificates that fits under the limit for
size of certificates accepted from the peer (~100 KiB) can result in allocation
of several hundred MiB of resident memory on the receiving side
during a normal TLS handshake. This may be enough to crash the client or
server, if multiple concurrent connections lead to similarly large memory
allocations.
The fix postpones processing of the CRL distribution points extensions in
certificates to the time when the processed value is required for CRL processing.
This avoids keeping large memory allocations for a long time when such
certificates are received.
FIPS impact: no
The affected code is outside the FIPS module boundary. |
| Catapult DCT2000 protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.8 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service |
| Improper Neutralization. Splunk addressed multiple internally identified vulnerabilities in Splunk Enterprise versions 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15. The vulnerabilities are grouped by Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE), with one Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) identifier assigned to each group. See Details for more information. |
| Improper Adherence to Coding Standards. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 5.94.0 until 6.64.0, when creating a bookmark card, Ghost could store non-image files fetched from an external website as bookmark icons or thumbnails. This allowed any staff user, including Contributors, to host arbitrary HTML on the site's domain, possibly resulting in compromise of other staff users' admin sessions. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, the deployments/aio/community/ and deployments/cli/community/ manifests provide fixed, publicly known SECRET_KEY and LIVE_SERVER_SECRET_KEY defaults that remain active when operators do not override them. The top-level setup.sh randomizes secrets only for the development Docker Compose path, leaving unchanged aio and cli community deployments with shared production secrets. Knowledge of SECRET_KEY enables attackers to forge Django-signed values and compromise accounts or sessions. Knowledge of LIVE_SERVER_SECRET_KEY bypasses live-service authentication on unchanged community deployments. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0. |
| A weakness has been identified in Open5GS up to 2.7.7. This vulnerability affects the function ogs_pfcp_xact_local_create of the file src/upf/gtp-path.c of the component GTP-U Receive Path. This manipulation causes allocation of resources. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Patch name: 9ffc252482d9b03ac01abcedbe95497ff4f95dd0. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency, Uncaught exception, Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity, Memory allocation with excessive size value, Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability in Apache Thrift Python, Ruby, Erlang, Lua, Dart, JavaME, Perl, PHP and D language bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| improper handling of exceptional conditions, Missing release of resource after effective lifetime vulnerability in Apache Thrift java bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.1.0 to 2.11.0, flatCols expands file-loaded column ranges without validating Min and Max against the worksheet column limit. SetColWidth reaches flatCols, which expands xlsxCol.Min through xlsxCol.Max without enforcing MaxColumns. When a crafted worksheet supplies an oversized col max attribute and the application invokes a column mutator, flatCols performs a deep copy and append for every attacker-selected column number, allowing an attacker to consume excessive CPU and memory or trigger OOM. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability in the ClearPass Policy Manager OnGuard agent could allow malicious users on a local instance to elevate their user privileges if certain preconditions outside of the attacker's control are met. Successful exploitation could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the affected system. |
| Gitea accepted pushed Git trees containing two entries with the same name, which Git's own consistency checks reject. Gitea's web views resolved such a path to the first entry, while `git checkout`, Gitea Actions, and release archives use the last. A contributor could open a pull request whose diff and file views show benign content while CI and checkouts at the same commit use different, attacker-controlled content. Incoming objects are now checked for consistency; objects already stored in existing repositories are not rescanned. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 11.7 before 18.8.9, 18.9 before 18.9.5, and 18.10 before 18.10.3 that when importing CSV files could have allowed an authenticated user to cause denial of service to Sidekiq workers due to improper validation of CSV file structure. |
| GitAhead through 2.7.1 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in src/git/Filter.cpp that allows malicious repositories to execute commands by substituting crafted filenames into clean/smudge filter commands. Attackers can ship files named with $(command) selected via .gitattributes so checkout or staging runs the command through bash -c as the victim. |
| LearnPress plugin for WordPress through 4.4.9.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated instructors to inject scripts via quiz question hint and explanation fields. Attackers with the Instructor role can submit unsanitized payloads through the update_question AJAX handler that execute in the session of every student taking the quiz. |
| A vulnerability was determined in onetwothreeneth HospitalManagementSystem up to 9ef91ed6007314b6473110ed699dff76d158f61d. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file transaction_details.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument transaction_id can lead to sql injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product utilizes a rolling release system for continuous delivery, and as such, version information for affected or updated releases is not disclosed. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A vulnerability was determined in TallCMS up to 4.8.0. This affects an unknown function of the file packages/tallcms/cms/src/Filament/Pages/ThemeManager.php of the component PluginManager. Executing a manipulation can lead to code injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This patch is called fdc18f4c6a36134f8986ca1d7e4e97092e3deb93. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. |
| The Gitea web route for deleting tags (`POST /{owner}/{repo}/tags/delete`) requires only write access to the Code unit, but shares its handler with release deletion and did not check that the target was a plain tag. A collaborator with Code write access and without Releases write access could permanently delete published releases of that repository, including their attachments. Protected tag rules covering the release tag still blocked the deletion. |
