| uv before 0.11.15 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows malicious wheels to write files outside the scripts directory via crafted console_scripts or gui_scripts entry point names. Attackers who induce users to install a malicious wheel can place executables in PATH directories, shadowing or overwriting existing binaries for code execution. |
| Astral uv before 0.11.6 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to delete arbitrary files by supplying wheels with relative traversal paths in RECORD entries. Attackers can craft a malicious wheel whose RECORD references files outside the installation prefix, causing uv to delete those files when the user uninstalls the package. |
| Sensitive information disclosure and manipulation due to improper authorization checks. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Infrastructure (ACI) before build 6.0.1-112, Acronis Cyber Infrastructure (ACI) before build 6.1.1-64, Acronis Cyber Infrastructure (ACI) before build 6.2.1-71. |
| Pydantic AI Harness before 0.59.0 fails to enforce UsageLimits.tool_calls_limit on nested tool calls dispatched from run_code in the CodeMode toolset. Users or prompt-injected content can make the sandboxed program invoke tools via run_nested_call() without check_before_tool_call, exceeding operator limits on costly or side-effecting tools. |
| As part of Cisco's ongoing commitment to proactive security and product quality, engineering teams for Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Prime Collaboration Deployment, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM), Cisco Unified Communications Manager IM & Presence Service (Unified CM IM&P), Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME), and Cisco Unity Connection have conducted a comprehensive internal security review. This review resulted in software hardening releases that address multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities.
The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-76475 are related to issues concerning improper neutralization of input during web page generation that are grouped under the Common Weakness Enumeration (CWE) Base CWE-79. |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in the Count-Min sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp).
count_min_sketch::deserialize() did not include the preamble in its input size check, so a truncated sketch could cause a read of up to 16 bytes past the end of the input. In addition, the table size was computed from the serialized number of buckets and number of hash functions in 32-bit arithmetic. A crafted sketch could make it wrap to zero, so that the sketch deserialized with an empty table, and later updates and estimate queries read and wrote outside the heap allocation. This can corrupt heap memory, causing a crash and potentially enabling further exploitation.
This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 4.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Count-Min sketches from untrusted sources are affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.4.20, the @backstage/plugin-auth-backend-module-oidc-provider package is affected by improper authentication in the oidc provider. Deployments using OIDC email-based identity resolution with a provider that permits unverified email addresses may allow an authenticated provider user to assume another catalog identity. This may grant access and permissions associated with that user. No direct availability impact is demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.20. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 2.2.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend package is affected by improper authorization enforcement for techdocs static content. An authenticated user with access to one TechDocs documentation site could craft a URL able to read documentation belonging to a different entity. This only affects deployments using the external TechDocs builder with an external storage provider (S3, GCS, etc.) and the permission framework enabled. Instances that do not use the permission framework are unaffected, since TechDocs content is visible to all authenticated users by design. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.4. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 2.2.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-backend package is affected by improper input validation in techdocs static content requests. When using the Azure Blob Storage provider, an authenticated Backstage user may be able to read restricted TechDocs content when entity-level permissions are enabled. Deployments that intentionally disable the default backend authentication policy may have broader exposure. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.4. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: target: iscsi: Bound iscsi_encode_text_output() appends to rsp_buf
iscsi_encode_text_output() concatenates "key=value\0" records into
login->rsp_buf, an 8192-byte kzalloc(MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS) buffer
allocated in iscsit_alloc_login_setup_buffer(). The three sprintf() call
sites in this function (lines 1398, 1411, 1424 in v7.1-rc2) never check
the remaining buffer capacity:
*length += sprintf(output_buf, "%s=%s", er->key, er->value);
*length += 1;
output_buf = textbuf + *length;
The 8192-byte ceiling at iscsi_target_check_login_request() bounds the
*input* Login PDU payload, but a single PDU can carry up to 2048 minimal
four-byte "a=b\0" pairs, each unknown key expanding to a 16-byte
"a=NotUnderstood\0" output record via iscsi_add_notunderstood_response().
2048 * 16 = 32 KiB of output into an 8 KiB buffer, producing a ~24 KiB
heap overrun in the kmalloc-8k slab.
The fix introduces a static iscsi_encode_text_record() helper that uses
snprintf() with a per-call bounds check against the remaining buffer,
and threads a u32 textbuf_size parameter through
iscsi_encode_text_output(). Both call sites in
iscsi_target_handle_csg_zero() (PHASE_SECURITY) and
iscsi_target_handle_csg_one() (PHASE_OPERATIONAL) pass
MAX_KEY_VALUE_PAIRS. On overflow the encoder logs the condition, calls
iscsi_release_extra_responses() to drop queued records, and returns -1;
both caller sites now emit ISCSI_STATUS_CLS_INITIATOR_ERR /
ISCSI_LOGIN_STATUS_INIT_ERR via iscsit_tx_login_rsp() before returning,
so the initiator sees an explicit failed-login response rather than a
silent connection drop. (Prior to this patch only the PHASE_OPERATIONAL
caller did that; the PHASE_SECURITY caller is converted to the same
shape.) |
