| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: fix off-by-one bounds check in RX submit
btintel_pcie_submit_rx() used frbd_index > rxq->count to guard the
FRBD array access, allowing frbd_index == rxq->count to pass through
and index one element past the end of the array. Change the check to
>= rxq->count so every out-of-range index is rejected.
This issue was reported by Claude Mythos. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT signature segment is affected because signature segment decoding accepts characters outside the canonical Base64URL representation. This occurs when non-Base64URL characters are appended to a valid compact JWS signature segment. As a result, base64url_decode produces the same signature bytes for different serialized segments. Consequently, raw-token revocation checks can fail to recognize an equivalent modified token. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT is_pem_format is affected because lazy PEM regular expression backtracks extensively. This occurs when a certificate-like input contains repeated BEGIN markers without a matching END marker. As a result, is_pem_format performs unbounded backtracking while searching for a PEM end marker. Consequently, an attacker can cause intensive CPU consumption. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| libvips 8.19.0 contains a memory access vulnerability when processing little-endian PFM images. If the PFM text header length is not a multiple of four bytes, the mmap-based loader can expose pixel data at an address that is not properly aligned for float access. vips_avg_scan() subsequently dereferences the buffer through a float pointer, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination on strict-alignment architectures or UBSan-instrumented builds, leading to denial of service. |
| tftp-hpa 5.4 before 6.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in rewrite_string() in tftpd/remap.c that walks heap memory during jump label searches. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send read or write requests whose filename matches a remap jump rule to crash the forked in.tftpd request handler. |
| libmikmod before 3.3.14 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Impulse Tracker loader load_it.c that allows attackers to read adjacent heap memory via oversized patterns. Attackers can supply a crafted IT module with more than 200 pattern rows, causing IT_ConvertTrack() to read past the itpat buffer and crash applications. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to 3.3.0, several @quasar/app-vite SSR and SSG rendering paths interpolated ssrContext.nonce directly into quoted HTML attributes. An application that derives or overrides this value with attacker-controlled data can allow a quote to terminate the nonce attribute and inject additional attributes or markup into generated HTML across development and production SSR or SSG output. Cryptographically generated base64 or base64url nonces are not affected because they lack HTML attribute delimiters. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0. |
| An integer overflow in WSS4J's DER bounds check lets an oversized allocation pass validation. An unauthenticated attacker can send a SOAP message carrying an X.509 certificate whose SubjectKeyIdentifier extension declares a length of 0x7FFFFFFF; WSS4J decodes this while resolving the signature's key reference, before the message is authenticated, so an eleven-byte extension triggers a 2 GB allocation. Repeated requests exhaust server memory.
Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.2 or 3.0.6 or 2.4.4, which fix this issue. |
| libmikmod before 3.3.14 contains an integer overflow in the Oktalyzer loader OKT_doPBOD() that allows attackers to cause heap buffer overflow via crafted track counts. Attackers can supply an OKT module whose SLEN chunk wraps the 16-bit numtrk value, causing PBOD writes past allocated track pointers for crashes or code execution. |
| Wasmtime is a runtime for WebAssembly. From 46.0.0 until 46.0.2 and 47.0.3, fuel and epoch preemption checks inside bulk operations including memory.copy, table.grow, and array.copy can expose invalid intermediate state when an embedder mutates a Store in Store::epoch_deadline_callback or continues using a Store after cancellation or a trap. A cancelled non-nullable table growth can leave null elements, linear-memory growth during memory.copy can invalidate retained raw pointers, and callback-triggered garbage collection during array.copy can invalidate GC pointers, resulting in a crash, invalid memory access, or GC heap corruption. Embeddings whose callbacks only access the host data in Store<T>, and embeddings that discard a Store after timeout or epoch deadline, are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 46.0.2 and 47.0.3. |
| Tinypool is a minimal Node.js worker thread pool implementation. Prior to 2.1.2, Tinypool reads filename from a caller-supplied options object in pool.run(task, options) without requiring an own property, so a polluted Object.prototype.filename can replace the intended worker module. Applications are affected only when they pass their own second-argument options object to pool.run(); calls without that argument use the trusted default options object. An attacker who can first pollute the prototype can cause the worker pool to load attacker-selected JavaScript and can read or modify task data with the host process's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.2. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a specially crafted XML input to the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) endpoint. This malicious input can cause high CPU usage and worker thread starvation, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) where the server becomes unavailable. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted POST request with an excessively long scope parameter to the OpenID Connect (OIDC) token endpoint. This leads to high resource consumption and prolonged processing times, ultimately resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the Keycloak server. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. Keycloak's Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) broker endpoint does not properly validate encrypted assertions when the overall SAML response is not signed. An attacker with a valid signed SAML assertion can exploit this by crafting a malicious SAML response. This allows the attacker to inject an encrypted assertion for an arbitrary principal, leading to unauthorized access and potential information disclosure. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: avoid out-of-bounds read for empty PREQ elements
ieee80211_mesh_preq_size_ok() derives the location of the PREQ bottom
fields before checking whether the element contains even the fixed
header. ieee80211_mesh_hwmp_preq_get_bottom() reads the flags byte to
account for the optional Address Extension field. Consequently, an
empty PREQ element causes a one-byte read beyond its declared payload.
Move the helper call after both size checks, so the bottom fields are
only accessed when they are present. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: p54: require a full exp_if record in PDR_INTERFACE_LIST
The PDR_INTERFACE_LIST loop only checks that the record start is within
the entry before reading an entire struct exp_if from it. A truncated
trailing record makes the if_id/variant reads cross the entry boundary
into the heap beyond the EEPROM buffer (verified with a KASAN
reproducer of the loop). The variant also feeds the synth front-end
selection, so this is not only a leak.
Advance only while a full record still fits in the entry. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: core: Validate MODE SENSE lengths in scsi_cdl_enable()
scsi_cdl_enable() uses length fields returned by MODE SENSE to locate
the ATA feature mode page in a 64-byte stack buffer. A target can report
a total length shorter than its mode header and block descriptors. The
unsigned subtraction used for the MODE SELECT length can wrap, and the
separately computed buf_data can point beyond buf.
During automatic scan, enable is false, so the read-modify-write of
buf_data[4] can clear the low two bits of a target-selected
out-of-bounds stack byte. scsi_mode_select() can then copy up to 64
bytes from outside the buffer into the outgoing MODE SELECT payload,
disclosing stack contents to the target.
This is reachable while scanning a USB storage device that identifies as
an ATA device and advertises CDL support. No filesystem mount or
userspace access to the block device is required.
On upstream commit cee9395acd80 ("Linux 7.3-rc1"), a build-specific,
one-vCPU QEMU/Raw Gadget proof using QEMU-only multi-UDC allocator
sampling executed a fixed proof command inside the guest and created a
UID-0-owned marker during automatic enumeration, with KASLR and NX
enabled.
The issue was independently found during security research at Drivesec
S.r.l.
Cap the available length to the buffer size. Validate and consume the
mode header and block descriptor lengths before using the page, and
require the five bytes needed to access the CDL field. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dma-buf: Fix silent overflow for phys vec to sgt
In case MMIO size is bigger than 4G and peer2peer DMA goes
through host bridge, we trigger a code path that assigns the
total linked IOVA (which is greater than 4G) to mapped_len.
Previously, `mapped_len` was declared as 32-bit `unsigned int`.
When accumulating `size_t` lengths, this leads to a silent wrap-around.
This truncation causes truncated lengths to be passed to functions
like `fill_sg_entry()`.
Fix this by changing `mapped_len` to `size_t` (64-bit). While
at it, fix similar potential overflow issues in `calc_sg_nents`
by using `check_add_overflow()` for `nents` and using
`unsigned int` for the loop iterator in `fill_sg_entry` to match. |
