CVSS v3.1 |
| Cockpit CMS 2.14.0 and prior contains a command injection vulnerability in the FFmpeg integration that allows authenticated users with only the assets/upload permission to execute arbitrary commands by uploading a video file with a shell metacharacter-laden filename. The unsanitized filename is interpolated into a shell command executed via Process::fromShellCommandline() before the slugify() sanitizer runs, enabling injected shell metacharacters such as backticks, $(), and semicolons to escape the FFmpeg command context and execute as the web-server user. |
| libgit2 versions before 1.8.7 and 1.9.0 before 1.9.7 built with the libssh2 SSH backend (USE_SSH=libssh2) contain a shell command injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on an SSH server by supplying a repository path containing unescaped shell metacharacters such as single quotes, semicolons, or pipes. The gen_proto() function in ssh_libssh2.c inserts the repository path directly into a shell command string without escaping special characters before passing it to libssh2_channel_exec(), enabling an attacker to craft a malicious submodule URL in a .gitmodules file that, when processed during a recursive clone, causes the remote server's shell to interpret injected commands under the victim's SSH user account. |
| Ether MP3 CD Burner 1.3.8 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the registration name field that allows remote code execution. Attackers can craft a malicious payload to overwrite SEH handlers and execute a bind shell on port 3110 by exploiting improper input validation. |
| AIDA64 Extreme 5.99.4900 contains a structured exception handling buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying malicious input through the email preferences and report wizard interfaces. Attackers can inject crafted payloads into the Display name field and Load from file parameter to trigger the overflow and execute shellcode with application privileges. |
| AIDA64 Extreme 5.99.4900 contains a structured exception handler buffer overflow vulnerability in the logging functionality that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying a malicious CSV log file path. Attackers can inject shellcode through the Hardware Monitoring logging preferences to overflow the buffer and trigger code execution when the application processes the log file path. |
| Angry IP Scanner 3.5.3 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the preferences dialog that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively large string. Attackers can generate a file containing a massive buffer of repeated characters and paste it into the unavailable value field in the display preferences to trigger a denial of service. |
| Termite 3.4 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the User interface language settings field that allows local attackers to cause a denial of service by supplying an excessively long string. Attackers can paste a 2000-byte payload into the Settings User interface language field to crash the application. |
| Free IP Switcher 3.1 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string in the Computer Name field. Attackers can paste a malicious payload into the Computer Name input field and click Activate to trigger a denial of service condition that crashes the application. |
| EChat Server 3.1 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the chat.ghp endpoint that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying an oversized username parameter. Attackers can send a GET request to chat.ghp with a malicious username value containing shellcode and ROP gadgets to achieve code execution in the application context. |
| AnyBurn 4.3 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string in the image file name field. Attackers can paste a 10000-byte payload into the 'Image file name' parameter during the 'Copy disk to Image' operation to trigger a denial of service condition. |
| Flat Assembler 1.71.21 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying oversized input to the application. Attackers can craft malicious assembly input exceeding 5895 bytes to overwrite the instruction pointer and execute return-oriented programming chains for shell command execution. |
| Token Optimizer MCP measures token savings per AI coding agent, optimizes context, and shares a live local knowledge graph across 16 CLI clients. Prior to version 5.1.0, token-optimizer-mcp is vulnerable to OS command injection in the smart_user tool. Any MCP client that can call the smart_user tool can execute arbitrary shell commands through the username argument of the get-user-info operation. The commands execute with the privileges of the user running the token-optimizer-mcp server. This issue has been patched in version 5.1.0. |
| A vulnerability was detected in Netcore NR289-GE 1.4.5102. This affects the function system of the file /set_ntp_server_ip.cgi of the component CGI Handler. The manipulation of the argument ntp_ip results in os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was determined in aaPanel BaoTa up to 11.8.0. The affected element is the function panelTask.bt_task._unzip of the file /www/server/panel/class/panelTask.py of the component Unzip Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument Password can lead to os command injection. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A weakness has been identified in Cesanta Mongoose up to 7.21. Affected by this vulnerability is the function fn of the file tutorials/mqtt/mqtt-server/main.c of the component MQTT Broker. Executing a manipulation can lead to stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 7.22 addresses this issue. This patch is called a9df523f76f43a38bd53b4232b9cfd4c16869e71. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| NVIDIA NVAPI for Windows contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an out-of-bounds write. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering. |
| NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where a user could cause an out-of-bounds write. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: Bound GPIO I2C table entry count from VBIOS
Reject undersized tables and cap the derived entry count
to AMDGPU_MAX_I2C_BUS so we do not overrun adev->i2c_bus[]
or walk an absurd number of entries on corrupt size fields. |
| zlib 1.2.11 through 1.3.2 contains a heap buffer overflow: after an underlying write() fails, gz_write() returns without resetting strm.next_in, leaving it pointed at the caller's buffer. A later gz* write call then derives a position from the stale pointer and writes past a heap allocation; any write() failure reaches it, including EPIPE on a blocking descriptor, and in versions before 1.3.1.2 the failed write must be followed by a gzclearerr() call. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
genirq/proc: Size interrupt directory names for 10-digit interrupt numbers
/proc/irq/<n>/ directory names are built in `char name[10]` buffers
with `sprintf(name, "%u", irq)`.
Ten-digit IRQ numbers already need 11 bytes including the trailing NUL, and
current sparse-IRQ configurations allow interrupt numbers in that range.
Size the temporary name buffer for the current decimal form and switch
to bounded formatting when creating or removing the proc entry. |
