CVSS v3.1 |
simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin compares parsed option names with literal dangerous option spellings while Git accepts unambiguous long-option abbreviations. Attacker-influenced push arguments such as abbreviated --receive-pack or --exec forms can therefore bypass detectVulnerableFlags, reach git push against a local or file remote or an attacker-influenced receive-pack target, and cause Git to invoke an attacker-selected command in consumers that expose those arguments. The clone-side abbreviation handling does not protect the push path. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0.
In Brocade SANnav before 3.0.0a, an SQL Injection vulnerability in various external API inventories have a vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious data into some of the REST API -query parameters.
An argument injection vulnerability exists in the configuration management command-line utility of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1. When executing configuration viewing commands with search pattern filters, the utility fails to sanitize user-supplied search string options before passing them to internal search commands. An authenticated user with low-privilege administrative access can exploit this vulnerability to read arbitrary files on the local operating system, including sensitive configuration files, system password hashes and system secrets.
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the workflow membership API lets a project that has accepted a share of another project's private workflow create a further membership naming a third project. The new membership row is created with its project_id defaulted to the accepting project rather than the original workflow owner, and thus the owner can neither see nor delete it. The third project can accept this membership (that it had not actually been granted by the owner), and then read and execute the owner's private workflow; only the accepting (not the owning) project can later revoke that access.
MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.2.0 until 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4, applications that enable permitSetMultiParamEntries can pass objects whose keys are expanded into a SQL SET clause without being processed by escapeId. An attacker-controlled key containing a backtick can close the quoted identifier and cause the remainder of the key to be interpreted as SQL. This can update columns the application did not intend to expose and can append arbitrary SQL with the database user's privileges. The option is disabled by default, and serialized-object handling used when it is disabled is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 3.3.4, 3.4.7, and 3.5.4.
An improper authorization vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS's SAML login process allows a remote, authenticated SAML user with access only to the Access Portal to obtain unauthorized Mobile VPN with SSL access through a specially crafted request.
Missing Authorization vulnerability in Pinpoint Booking System Pinpoint Booking System booking-system allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels.This issue affects Pinpoint Booking System: from n/a through 2.9.9.7.2.
Incorrect authorization in USB in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted Chrome extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Incorrect authorization in Mobile in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
In OpenStack Mistral through 23.0.0, the /v2/maintenance API controller clears the request context and calls the maintenance service directly without any policy enforcement. Any holder of a valid Mistral token, regardless of assigned role, can read and change the service's cluster-wide maintenance state. Setting the state to PAUSED stops processing of new workflow and execution objects across all tenant projects until an operator restores it.
JHipster is a development platform to quickly generate, develop, and deploy modern web applications and microservice architectures. From 7.0.0 until 9.4.0, reactive applications generated with Spring WebFlux, Spring Data R2DBC, and a SQL database pass the attacker-controlled sort request parameter from paginated entity-list endpoints into createOrderByFields in generators/spring-boot/generators/data-relational/templates/src/main/java/package/repository/EntityManager_reactive.java.ejs. The generated code renders these properties into the SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or quoting, and the R2DBC simple query protocol can execute additional statements separated by semicolons. A normal authenticated user can consequently read sensitive tables, modify or delete data, or drop tables, while non-reactive JPA applications and NoSQL backends are outside this root cause. This issue is fixed in 9.4.0.
music-metadata is a metadata parser for audio and video media files. In the public development revision introduced after 11.14.0, a development-branch regression in the MP4 stsd sample-description parser allows an attacker-controlled sample-entry size of zero to prevent the StsdAtom.get cursor from advancing while an attacker-controlled entry_count keeps the synchronous loop running. A crafted MP4-family input can block the Node.js event loop and grow the sample-description table until the process is terminated or exhausts memory. The vulnerable change was present on the public master branch but was not included in music-metadata 11.14.0 or any earlier npm release, and version 11.16.0 contains the fix. This issue is fixed in version 11.16.0.
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: don't downgrade half-dead scalar zero spills to STACK_ZERO
states.c:__clean_func_state() can downgrade scalar zero spill to
STACK_ZERO in the following case:
*(u64 *)(r10 - 8) = 0;
... checkpoint ...
r1 = *(u32 *)(r10 - 4);
... no reads from r10-8 ...
Here 4 bytes at r10-8 are dead and verifier changes scalar spill to a
combination: 0000pppp (p stands for poison). Such a change breaks
precision propagation chains. All places that produce STACK_ZERO
should call bpf_mark_chain_precision() for the zero source.
This patch fixes the bug in a simplest way possible:
avoids converting stack spills of zero to STACK_ZERO.
Two smarter approaches are possible:
- do bpf_mark_chain_precision() from __clean_func_state()
- check slot liveness information in check_stack_write_fixed_off()
I investigated both and the changes required are a bit tricky,
hence go with a simple fix for the time being. |
Missing authorization in FullScreen in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A policy-enforcement flaw in Zimbra Collaboration Suite allows an authenticated user to bypass disabled mail forwarding by using a Sieve notify action to send copies of email content and headers to an arbitrary address.
Argument injection in WP Toolkit for cPanel allows local users to execute arbitrary code as other accounts on the same server.
A flaw was found in the OIDC Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) component of Keycloak. A bug in the response serialization causes the backchannel logout offline token revocation setting to be omitted from responses. When a client performs a standard update, this missing information causes the setting to be silently disabled. As a result, offline tokens may remain valid even after a user session is terminated via backchannel logout.
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, the HTTP/1.1 connection-pool key excludes the authenticated principal for connection-oriented NTLM and Negotiate authentication. A pooled socket authenticated for one request can be reused by a request carrying another principal, and the server executes that later request as the first identity. Basic and Digest are not affected because they authenticate each request. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1.
The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.0.0 until 3.0.14, connection-pool partitioning still omits identity-defining fields for Kerberos, SPNEGO, NTLM, and authenticated proxy connections. Logins without a configured principal, proxy realms, identities sharing a user name, and SOCKS or CONNECT proxy logins can reuse a socket authenticated as a different identity. A later request is then executed under the first identity and can expose that identity's data or authority to another caller. In the affected execution path, SpnegoEngine, NTLM, Kerberos, SPNEGO, SOCKS, and CONNECT control or expose the vulnerable behavior. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14.
