| Catapult DCT2000 protocol dissector crash in 4.6.0 to 4.6.8 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.18 allows denial of service |
| In NTFS-3G before 2026.7.7, a heap buffer overflow exists in ntfs_ir_to_ib() in index.c that allows an attacker to corrupt heap memory in the SUID-root ntfs-3g binary by crafting a malicious NTFS image. The overflow is triggered by extending a directory, e.g., by creating a file. |
| Vault and Vault Enterprise did not consistently evaluate ACL policies against the canonical form of resource and policy names. This may allow an authenticated user with delegated permissions to bypass an explicit deny restriction and access a protected resource or assign a denied policy, potentially leading to privilege escalation. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-89322) is fixed in Vault Community Edition 2.1.2, and Vault Enterprise 2.1.2, 1.21.12, 1.20.17, and 1.19.23. |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a user that holds a role with the read_o11y_content capability could inject forged entries into the app log through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk App for Splunk O11y Cloud does not neutralize user-supplied SignalFlow content before writing it to the app log.
Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4.x are not affected. |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a low-privileged user that does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could retrieve original source code for the Discover Splunk Observability Cloud app through Splunk Web. The vulnerability is possible because production JavaScript bundles for the app contain embedded source maps that include original source code. For more information see About configuring role-based user access (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/about-configuring-role-based-user-access), Splunk Observability Cloud previews (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-manual/10.4/observability/splunk-observability-cloud-previews), and Navigating Splunk Web (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-tutorial/10.4/part-1-getting-started/navigating-splunk-web) in the Splunk documentation.
Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4.x are not affected. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 4.0.0 until 6.67.0, a crafted content import file could cause excessive CPU usage, making the Ghost server unresponsive. Exploiting this requires Administrator access. This issue is fixed in version 6.67.0. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). |
| An unauthenticated buffer overflow vulnerability exists in AOS-S. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to expose sensitive memory contents and cause a denial of service on the affected device. |
| Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency, Uncaught exception, Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity, Memory allocation with excessive size value, Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability in Apache Thrift Python, Ruby, Erlang, Lua, Dart, JavaME, Perl, PHP and D language bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.10.1 to 2.11.0, RIGHT validates the requested length with UTF-16 code-unit counts but slices a rune array using Unicode code-point counts. RIGHT reaches leftRight through CalcCellValue, where countUTF16String validates one unit but utf8.RuneCountInString supplies the slice index in another. When RIGHT evaluates supplementary-plane text with a requested character count between the rune count and UTF-16 code-unit count, the inconsistent units produce a negative rune-slice index, allowing an attacker to panic during formula evaluation. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
| A repository's external issue tracker regular expression containing alternating capture groups could produce invalid slice indexes when Gitea rendered issue references, causing a runtime panic that terminated the Gitea process. A user who can edit a repository's external issue tracker settings could make any later rendering of matching content, such as viewing a README, crash the instance for all users. |
| Authenticated users are able to manipulate both the SMTP
envelope “Envelope-from” and “From” fields when sending
emails through OVH mail servers.
Due to OVH's default SPF configuration, which
commonly includes include:mx.ovh.com, any authenticated user with a
valid OVH email account can send messages that appear to originate from any
OVH-hosted domains using the default SPF record. Since the SPF policy
explicitly authorizes OVH mail servers (mx.ovh.com) to send mail on behalf of
these domains, forged messages successfully pass SPF validation despite
not being authorized by the impersonated domain owner. |
| traverse (npm) versions 0.3.6 through 0.3.9, 0.4.0 through 0.4.6, 0.5.0 through 0.5.2, and 0.6.0 through 0.6.11 allow prototype pollution through set(). When the path passed to set() crosses a primitive value, the next path segment is resolved on that primitive's built-in prototype, so an application that passes an untrusted path to set() lets an attacker add or overwrite properties of String.prototype, Number.prototype, or Boolean.prototype using plain JSON data, for example traverse({ name: 'bob' }).set(['name', '__proto__', 'polluted'], 'yes'). Object.prototype was reachable only with a non-data path segment, such as an object whose toString returns a different value on each call, or through a Proxy that accepts an assignment without storing it. This is fixed in 0.3.10, 0.4.7, 0.5.3, and 0.6.12. |
| A weakness has been identified in vgmstream up to r2117. This impacts the function make_group_random of the file src/meta/txtp_process.c of the component TXTP File Handler. This manipulation causes use after free. The attack needs to be launched locally. Patch name: ae37662ad626254ddd96ad69ac263792d7a92024. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a crafted Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) request containing a zero-length authentication token to the responder socket. Due to missing input validation, the service attempts to read beyond buffer boundaries when processing the token, causing the PAM responder to crash. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to enforce account expiration using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) shadow attributes, SSSD fails to treat an expiration value of zero as an expired account. A user with valid credentials for an expired account can exploit this flaw to bypass access controls and authenticate to the system. This allows unauthorized access to persist after the account was intended to be deactivated. |
| A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the OnGuard agent of ClearPass Policy Manager. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated local user to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the affected host or to disrupt the availability of the affected service. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, ThreadSafeCookieStore validates Domain attributes with domain matching but does not reject public suffixes. A host beneath a suffix such as co.uk can set a cookie for that suffix, after which the shared cookie store sends it to unrelated hosts under the suffix. This can inject or overwrite session-relevant cookie values across origins. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1. |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. From 2.16.0 until 3.0.14, ThreadSafeCookieStore incompletely validates cookie Domain attributes. Missing private-section and default public-suffix rules, absent A-label normalization, locale-sensitive lowercasing, public-suffix host-only handling, and numeric or IP host checks allow one origin to store a cookie later sent to another origin. Applications sharing one client across trust domains can therefore receive attacker-injected cookies and may be exposed to session fixation. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.14. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ethtool: eeprom: add more safeties to EEPROM Netlink fallback
The Netlink fallback path for reading module EEPROM
(fallback_set_params()) validates that offset < eeprom_len,
but does not check that offset + length stays within eeprom_len.
The ioctl equivalent (ethtool_get_any_eeprom() in ioctl.c) has
always enforced both bounds:
if (eeprom.offset + eeprom.len > total_len)
return -EINVAL;
This could lead to surprises in both drivers and device FW.
Add the missing offset + length validation to fallback_set_params(),
mirroring the ioctl.
Similarly - ethtool core in general, and ethtool_get_any_eeprom()
in particular tries to zero-init all buffers passed to the drivers
to avoid any extra work of zeroing things out. eeprom_fallback()
uses a plain kmalloc(), change it to zalloc. |
