Security Update for Multiple ASUS Motherboards ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in the ASN.1 parser (Asn1InputStream, Asn1StreamParser) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted ASN.1 encoding of deeply nested constructed elements (for example SEQUENCE inside SEQUENCE, in definite-length DER or indefinite-length BER form), because each nesting level is parsed by a further recursive call with no bound on depth. About 2,000 levels (8 KB of DER) are enough to exhaust a 1.5 MB thread stack, the .NET main-thread default on Windows, and raise a StackOverflowException, which .NET cannot catch and which terminates the whole process; on threads with larger stacks, parse time instead grows quadratically with depth (about 9 seconds of CPU for a 64 KB input). Any path that parses untrusted ASN.1 is exposed, including X.509 certificates and CRLs, CMS/PKCS#7, PKCS#8/PKCS#12, OCSP and TLS Certificate messages. |

| Uncontrolled Recursion, Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Apache Thrift Erlang bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Apache Thrift PHP bindings.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| The protocol skip routine in several Apache Thrift bindings did not apply the binding's recursion limit, so a message that nests unknown fields deeply enough can exhaust the stack. Affected: the Python C++ accelerator (the pure-Python protocols are not affected), the PHP library and its thrift_protocol extension, and the Perl, Lua, Smalltalk and OCaml libraries.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue. |
| PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it. Prior to 7.1.6, src/parser.js splitWord() can receive a flat selector as one word token carrying many class or ID indexes because period and hash characters are not tokenizer word delimiters. The uniqs() deduplication and per-index class and ID membership checks repeatedly scan the class and ID index arrays, while a separate Sass-interpolation filtering pass also performs repeated linear scanning. Together, these passes make parsing quadratic in the number of indexes and allow a crafted selector to occupy a synchronous parser thread. The maxNestingDepth guard does not mitigate the issue because the hostile selector can have zero nesting depth. Only consumers that synchronously parse untrusted selectors in an exposed request path are affected; ordinary build-time parsing of trusted sources is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.6. |
| The WebSocket backend uses charging station identifiers to uniquely associate sessions but allows multiple endpoints to connect using the same session identifier. This implementation results in predictable session identifiers. This vulnerability may allow unauthorized users to authenticate as other users or enable a malicious actor to cause a denial-of-service condition by overwhelming the backend with valid session requests. |
| A flaw was found in ModemManager. When parsing a Cell Broadcast Message, some 3GPP data-coding-scheme values (8-bit and reserved character sets) are not handled. The process hits a reachable assertion and aborts. An attacker who can deliver a crafted Cell Broadcast PDU over the radio network, or via a modem AT channel, can cause ModemManager to exit. Repeated aborts can exhaust systemd's default start limit and leave the service failed. |
| A flaw was found in open-cluster-management. An agent communicating via the gRPC broker can bypass authorization by manipulating the `ce-clustername` cloud event header attribute, which is used for authorization, independently of the actual event payload. This allows a registered managed cluster to gain unauthorized access, enabling it to move itself into other tenants' ManagedClusterSets and overwrite other clusters' ManagedCluster objects in the hub. The primary consequence is a breach of isolation between managed clusters, leading to unauthorized modification of cluster resources. This can lead to unauthorized receipt of newly delivered tenant workloads, policies, and secrets via Placement decisions. Additionally, an attacker can arbitrarily overwrite other clusters' ManagedCluster objects on the hub or perform unauthorized writes inside another cluster's dedicated hub namespace, such as forging Lease liveness heartbeats to manipulate availability status. |
| The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 5.7.1 via the OsPaypalConnectController::create_order_for_transaction() action registered as a public (unauthenticated) route through wp_ajax_nopriv_latepoint_route_call. The handler loads an OsInvoiceModel by a sequential integer 'invoice_id' with no access-key/UUID or ownership check (the sibling Stripe and Razorpay handlers require a 128-bit access-key UUID via OsInvoicesHelper::get_invoice_by_key), and then calls OsTransactionIntentHelper::create_or_update_transaction_intent() which persists a transaction intent tied to the target invoice's customer_id, order_id and charge_amount and regenerates its intent_key before the PayPal-configured guard is reached. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enumerate invoices belonging to arbitrary customers, create unauthorized transaction-intent rows linked to another customer's data, and overwrite the intent_key of any in-flight NEW-status transaction intent — invalidating the intent_key that legitimate Stripe/Razorpay flows are waiting on and breaking payment webhooks for those customers. |
| The LearnPress – WordPress LMS Plugin for Create and Sell Online Courses plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions up to, and including, 4.4.8 via the CourseMaterialTemplate::render_material_items() callback exposed on the public lp-ajax-handle (load_content_via_ajax) endpoint. The endpoint is explicitly listed in the AbstractAjax no-nonce allowlist and performs no capability check, and the render_material_items() handler decides authorization against one attacker-supplied identifier (course_id) while fetching the returned material rows via a second, independently attacker-supplied identifier (item_id) with no check that the lesson belongs to the authorized course. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read and download course-material files (uploaded and external file paths/URLs) belonging to lessons in paid or enrollment-required courses, provided any single course on the site has 'No Required Enroll' enabled and owns at least one material file. |
| The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.12.31 via the 'complete_group' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to disclose every co-booker's private per-appointment id_token (exposed as public_token) alongside their PII (name and email address), then use each leaked token to read, overwrite arbitrary appointment meta on, or cancel the co-booker's appointment via the same REST controller. Exploitation requires the attacker to possess a valid id_token for any single appointment within the targeted group booking. |
| The Helpdesk Support Ticket System for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.6 via the 'id' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary ticket responses belonging to other users by supplying any stsw_responses row ID to the deletion handler after obtaining the nonce from the admin footer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-apple: Prevent shared tags across queues on Apple A11
On Apple A11, tags of pending commands must be unique across the admin
and IO queues, else the firmware crashes with
"duplicate tag error for tag N", with N being the tag.
Apply the existing workaround for M1 of reserving two tags for the admin
queue to A11. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
EDAC/device_sysfs: Use kstrtouint() for poll_msec to prevent truncation
The poll_msec sysfs store file uses simple_strtoul() which accepts an unsigned
long, but the target field (poll_msec) is unsigned int. On 64-bit systems,
a value > UINT_MAX is silently truncated when stored.
Fix the mismatch by using kstrtouint() instead. This rejects values larger
than UINT_MAX at parse time, making truncation impossible. Also add a check
for value < 1 to reject the 0-delay case, which would cause the poll work to
spin without delay and consume 100% CPU. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: fq_pie: clamp quantum in change path
fq_pie_change() accepts any quantum value from userspace, including 1.
With a crafted size table qdisc_pkt_len reaches ~2 GiB, so quantum=1
makes the deficit-refill loop spin ~2^31 times under the qdisc lock
(a soft lockup / denial of service).
Add max(256U, ...) matching fq_codel_change().
Conditions to recreate the bug:
CONFIG_NET_SCH_FQ_PIE=y. Requires CAP_NET_ADMIN (namespace-local via
unshare -Urn suffices).

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: sfq: clamp quantum in change path
sfq_change() accepts any non-negative quantum (only rejects
(int)ctl->quantum < 0). With a crafted size table qdisc_pkt_len reaches
~2 GiB, so quantum=1 makes the deficit-refill loop spin ~2^31 times
under the qdisc lock (a soft lockup / denial of service).
Add max(256U, ...) matching fq_codel_change(). Reject quantum > 1<<20
with -EINVAL, matching fq_codel_change() and the init clamp.
Conditions to recreate the bug:
CONFIG_NET_SCH_SFQ=y. Requires CAP_NET_ADMIN (namespace-local via
unshare -Urn suffices).
