| Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, Versions prior to 5.36, contains a Weak Encoding for Password vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure, Information tampering, Protection mechanism bypass, and Unauthorized access. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix maximum allowed access checks
The DACL permission check looks for an ACE matching the current user and
falls back to the Everyone ACE. It does not consider an Authenticated
Users ACE, even though an authenticated session is a member of that
well-known group.
As a result, opening a file whose access is granted through S-1-5-11 can
incorrectly fail with STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. Treat an Authenticated Users
ACE as a fallback entry alongside Everyone.
The maximal access calculation also combines access masks from every ACE,
regardless of whether its SID applies to the current user. This can grant
rights belonging to an unrelated principal. Process only ACEs applying to
the user, Everyone, or Authenticated Users, and accumulate allowed and
denied masks in ACL order. Preserve explicitly requested access bits so
they are validated against the resulting maximal mask.
When ACCESS_SYSTEM_SECURITY is denied, report STATUS_PRIVILEGE_NOT_HELD
instead of the generic STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. Access to the system ACL
requires a security privilege that ksmbd does not grant.
For regular files, include FILE_EXECUTE in maximal access when the client
requested GENERIC_EXECUTE and the DACL grants the complete file-read set.
Keep a direct FILE_EXECUTE request subject to the explicit DACL bit. This
matches the POSIX file ACL mapping without broadening specific execute
requests.
Do not replace rights from an applicable NT ACE with a POSIX ACL entry.
The POSIX ACL is only a fallback when no user, Everyone, or Authenticated
Users ACE applies; otherwise it can incorrectly broaden the stored DACL.
This fixes smb2.maximum_allowed.maximum_allowed. |
| The Knit Pay – Cashfree, Instamojo, Razorpay, PayPal and more plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 9.6.1.0. This is due to the `maybe_update_user_role()` function reading the target role directly from an attacker-controlled Gravity Forms entry field — configured via the feed's `user_role_field_id` — and passing it to `WP_User::set_role()` without validating the supplied value against an allowlist of permitted roles. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to administrator by tampering with the hidden role field value at form submission time. Exploitation is further enabled by the fact that $0 orders are synchronously marked as SUCCESS during form submission without requiring a real payment, and when no GF User Registration user can be resolved, the role assignment target falls back to `$lead['created_by']` — the currently authenticated submitter's own user ID — making any authenticated form submitter an eligible exploitation target. |
| Privilege escalation vulnerabilities exist in the API of HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator. Successful exploitation could allow a remote low-privileged authenticated user to escalate their privileges to those of an administrative user, leading to complete system compromise. |
| Privilege escalation vulnerabilities exist in the API of HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator. Successful exploitation could allow a remote low-privileged authenticated user to escalate their privileges to those of an administrative user, leading to complete system compromise. |
| A vulnerability in the API endpoint of HPE Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator could allow a low-privilege authenticated remote attacker to escalate privileges. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may enable the attacker to execute arbitrary system commands with root privileges on the underlying operating system. |
| The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.6. This is due to missing permission enforcement on the publicly accessible REST route `POST /wp-json/wawp/v1/signup/<op>` and the absence of a key allowlist in the `finish_registration_logic` function, which copies the attacker-controlled `wawp_custom_fields` parameter directly into `update_user_meta()` — allowing sensitive meta keys such as `wp_capabilities` and `wp_user_level` to be set by the caller. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new account with the administrator role and gain full administrative access to the site. When OTP verification is enabled at signup, the OTP session token (`otp_transient`) is returned in plaintext in the HTTP response body, and the `handle_magic_link_request()` handler marks that token as verified on any unauthenticated GET request containing it without ever checking the OTP code value — making the OTP step trivially bypassable with no inbox or SMS access required. |
| Incorrect Privilege Assignment vulnerability in MultiVendorX Product Catalog Enquiry for WooCommerce by MultiVendorX woocommerce-catalog-enquiry allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects Product Catalog Enquiry for WooCommerce by MultiVendorX: from n/a through 6.1.5. |
| LiteSpeed User-End cPanel Plugin before 2.4.5 allows privilege escalation (possibly to root), as exploited in the wild in May 2026. Detection is best done via a command line of grep -rE "cpanel_jsonapi_func=redisAble" /var/cpanel/logs /usr/local/cpanel/logs/ 2>/dev/null in Bash. If you get no output, you have not been hit with exploitation of the vulnerability. If there is output, we recommend you examine the IP addresses in the list, determine if they are valid IP addresses, and if not, block them. To determine damage done, examine the system logs for use by the detected IP addresses. The issue is related to mishandling of Redis enable/disable features. The recommended minimum version is 2.4.7. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Payments product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: File Transmission). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Payments. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Payments. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). |
| In multiple functions of SmsController.java, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Privilege Defined With Unsafe Actions vulnerability in Drupal Content Moderation Notifications allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects Content Moderation Notifications versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.9.0. |
| In kvm_iommu_map_sg of iommu.c, there is a possible use after free due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A flaw was found in the automation-controller instance
install-bundle endpoint. When a System Administrator downloads
an execution/hop node's install bundle, the controller signs an
X.509 certificate with the receptor mesh certificate authority
in which the Common Name, DNS subject-alternative-name, and
receptor node-id are taken verbatim from the caller-chosen
instance hostname, with a hard-coded ten-year validity, a random
serial, and no issuance log or revocation list. Because the
hostname charset validator is case-insensitive while the
uniqueness validator is case-sensitive, an administrator can
register a case variant of an existing control node's hostname
and obtain a mesh-CA-signed certificate that TLS peers, which
match hostnames case-insensitively, accept as that control node.
In managed/hosted deployments — where the customer holds
controller superuser but the platform operator runs the mesh —
this yields a long-lived, non-revocable mesh peer credential and,
with an on-path position, TLS impersonation or interception of
control/hybrid mesh nodes. It does not grant direct remote code
execution, because receptor work submission is gated by a
separate signing key not included in the bundle. |
| The Paytium: Mollie payment forms & donations plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.3. The 5.0.3 patch introduced a wp_hash()/hash_equals() signature gate on the pt-paytium-user-data field, but left a second filter — pt_cf_checkout_meta(), registered on the pt_meta_values hook after the signed builder — that copies every $_POST['pt_form_field'][*] key verbatim into the payment meta array without any signature verification; this allows the pt-user-role value it copies to overwrite the signed path's output, after which paytium_user_data_processing() reads the persisted _pt-user-role post meta and passes it directly as the role argument to wp_insert_user(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new WordPress account with the administrator role and fully take over the site. Exploitation requires submitting a payment through a publicly-exposed [paytium] shortcode form and completing the resulting payment flow, after which the attacker can seize the new administrator account via the standard lost-password flow on their supplied email address. |
| A flaw has been found in Neethuharii CafeManagement. Affected by this vulnerability is the function addcashier of the file AddCashierCode.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument uname/pass/role/status can lead to improper authorization. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was determined in TaleLin lin-cms-spring-boot up to 0.2.1. Affected is the function getBooks of the file src/main/java/io/github/talelin/latticy/controller/v1/BookController.java of the component book Endpoint. Executing a manipulation can lead to improper authorization. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The Import and export users and customers plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.17 via the plugin's own export and re-import workflow. The vulnerability exists because the exporter writes CSV cells using fputcsv() with a NUL byte (\0) as the escape character, while the importer parses the same file using SplFileObject::fgetcsv() with only a single delimiter argument, causing PHP's default backslash escape character to be applied instead; because the export column layout places display_name immediately before the role column and nickname immediately after, an attacker can store crafted values in those two profile fields — saved by WordPress core via the standard profile page — such that the escape mismatch causes the parser to merge the display_name cell into the role field and rebalance the column count via nickname, yielding administrator as the parsed role for their own row when it reaches the import_user function's add_role function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or above to escalate their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires a site administrator to trigger the plugin's documented export re-import migration with both "Update existing users" and "Update roles for existing users" set to "yes". |
| A vulnerability was found in TaleLin lin-cms-spring-boot up to 0.2.1.
